Fees are out of line. The return on investment is next to nothing... Explanation of what fees are for are minimal. Many of us share the feeling of being ripped off as a result of the monopoly.

If an agent doesn't know how to properly fill out the COMPLETE listing have someone in there office show them how or have that listing rejected until it is properly filled out.
The year built in NOT unknown. Look it up. It takes less than 1 minute.
The lot dimensions are NOT 7,500. They are 50 x 150
The management office should be listed on every condominium listing, it should NEVER be left blank.
Why is the GLA of just about every listing over-inflated?
If the home is listed in a PUD, list the amount and is it annual or monthly?
Does the association have any standards? Or is it but "that's the way we've always done it"?
The listings sheets NEVER improve but agents complain about the software so that get updated.

I just honestly don't understand the point anymore.
We basically work to buy/sell/rent listings and do free data entry in the MLS only for the info to be sold to Zillow, Redfin, Trulia, etc.
Consumers then access & utilize that information for free, however we are charged to be on their platforms.
The Realtors association should be fighting for us to stay relevant in today's market. We are currently paying dues and fees to provide all of the info that is making the consumers need for us obsolete.
Other than that, overall pleasant to work with. Need more classes out South. Most are in Downers Grove, I don't want to drive an hour for a class.

Mainstreet is basically the only choice I have. the fees are a bit over. no business no money but there are still late fees for not paying on time.
Most of office seems overwhelmed or bothered with questions. Some follow up answers are vague, incomplete, or passive responses/ forwards are sent in place of answering questions. For courses, packets were received late and majority of the students felt confused about the same questions.
Staff is knowledgable, friendly, and efficient. Programs offered are timely and informative.

MRED is always super friendly and helpful when ever I need to call in. They always get my questions answered right away and take the time to make sure all is complete
Realtors pay for the MLS and work hard to get the listings and therefore the data that is put in it. If any of it is incorrect or does not meet time rules, Realtors get fined. Why is it given away free by the Board to all kinds of un-vetted third parties who have zero accountability on the accuracy of what they post on their websites?

I do not like Remine and would love to go back to Realist.
