Saturday, August 28, 2021…Austin & Dan were very helpful! Austin did a great job helping out our soon to be five year old find his first pedal bike. Our son was very happy that they had a purple bike (Adore)! Austin found us a coordinating helmet (Bern Original). Our trip would not have been complete without our Salem Cycle swag (tshirt & waterbottle). Austin & Dan made the transaction smooth and seamless. We appreciate their kindness and awesome customer service.

I had a great experience learning about bicycles and then purchasing a bicycle from Marblehead Cycle. It started several weeks ago when my wife and I asked about e-bikes. First name removed, the owner, took the time to explain things and answered all our questions and concerns. We must have been there a full hour and he was patient and pleasant the whole time. We left without purchasing a bike and wanted to think about it.
Since we do not have a garage and are in the process of looking for a new home, we decided to hold off on a purchase for now. However, after a few weeks of thinking about it, I decided to purchase a regular bike for myself. I was disappointed by the big box stores and their lack of or poor service and so I decided I should go back to Marblehead Cycle to see if they had anything for me. First name removed was there, remembered me, and again took the time to listen to me and made some recommendations. After allowing me to do a quick test ride on two bikes, I purchased a Trek bike from him. It took a few days to get the bike ready since I asked for some after-market accessories and I took delivery this week at the promised time and day. I was given a good introduction to the bike and I feel the entire process was professional, friendly, courteous, and great service. No pressure, full attention to the customer, helpful, and just the kind of partner you hope to have when you start out riding again after over 45 years of not riding. I feel confident that First name removed and his team will be there for me when I need service and maintenance and this will be my go-to store when we are ready for our e-bikes.

I dropped in last week to look for a new bicycle seat, and the woman who helped me was just terrific. She was really attentive to how a new seat could throw off my ride if the height and other dimensions weren't identical to what I have been using for 20 years. And your staff managed to install the seat in 15 minutes. It was a great experience.
I confess I did not always have a great experience with the Salem shop during the pandemic. It's so nice to see you open again.
the team did a great job bringing my voyageur 11.8 back to life. everyone was great deal with and i am eternally grateful. cant wait to start riding that bike again after 20+ years

I am coming at this review as a very much novice cyclist. And by that I mean that I learned to ride in the last few months. The team at Salem Cycle has always been so helpful and giving me great guidance even when the questions are pretty basic. I can tell that the team are avid cyclist and knowledgeable. 10/10 would go back.
I’ve been looking all over for a shop that will ship a particular bicycle bell (mule domed bell by Electra) during these crazy times and Salem Cycles came to the rescue. I will be buying from Salem Cycles in the near future. Thank you
