I am disabled and do not participate in the activities BUT I do use the “Y” facilities in the gym!

There is a nice selection of equipment for whatever type of exercise that you are interested in. More importantly, everyone including staff and members, are all very nice and welcoming.

The YMCA is a nice quiet family atmosphere. I enjoy going to the YMCA and lifting weights and using the walking track. The only complaint I have is I wish they would not have gotten rid of the HOIST weight machines. They may have been older but the HOIST weight machines put more tension on the muscles than the current weight machines. The old calf raise machine was better too than the current one.

Being 80 years old I do not use all the of the services the YMCA provides, but our Frankfort, KY location has everything I need. However, we do not have a pool at this location. In the past we had a larger branch with a pool, basketball courts and many other services.

Love the staff — especially Eva & Frank! Also greatly appreciate the facility and playing chair volleyball.

Love the yoga classes! I also like being able to walk indoors in inclimate weather.

I use the weights and the other strength building resources. I also walk on the track and use the tread mill and elliptical stepper. If my schedule allows I will also take a yoga class and do Zumba.The staff is terrific; friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I try to get to the Y at least 3 times a week.
