What could we do to improve?

I was left "processing" my foiled color for almost 1.5hr. That's too long. I left with my hair wet and unstyled because I couldn't stay any longer---yet I was still charged full service price.

1) I've had my hair colored for years and know that processing the color does not take that long. I appreciate that hairdresser needs to squeeze in clients while other clients are processing but when it's stretching into 1.5 hrs---that's a bit much. A cut/foil should take appx 2hrs - 2.5hrs at most. My appt started at 12:15pm and I finally left at 3pm with wet hair.

2) If I choose not to stay for the blowout and style---especially due to time factors that I had no control over----the price should be adjusted accordingly.

Hey Trisha thank you for your comments. We use a Vegan color line (Aveda) and while your correct about usually processing times can be shorter there are some cases where this isn't so. This would be due to your desired results. We work very hard to make sure we get you to were you want to be with the integrity of your hair in tacked. How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Unfortunately yesterday was my last haircut at this salon. They chose wokeness over their customers and I’m disappointed. I was informed that my men’s cut price would increase by almost $20 because it offends the mentally ill transgender customers. I can understand a price increase to be able to pay stylists more, but to justify it saying there is inequality based on sex is the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Of course there is!!! Men don’t have as much hair and therefore do t require as much time. I’ve never been in the chair for longer than 20 minutes getting my haircut, and that’s what I’m paying for, the time the stylist takes. It saddens me that after almost 10years of getting a quality cut from the same person it comes to such an abrupt end. I have told this story to at least a dozen people who will no longer be scheduling their cuts at this salon. Such a disappointing decision.

We do provide different level of service providers in the salon that can help with a lower price point if that is better for you (Cassie would be happy to help with this recommendation). If someone gave you the below impression I apologize for their unprofessionalism, and we will work to correct their understanding of this.

I had the opportunity for Amanda to do my cut and color, as Emily was out on maternity leave. Amanda was excellent. She was a great listener about what I wanted.
