i love living in a one sided state that watches one sided news and it is a great reminder when I come into the Y and see CNN on. lets all think one-sided and promote that to young kids, teens, youth and above. Let's not 'think differently like John Lennon' and rather lets all think the same way - that will really expand our minds eh?
Politics should stay out of 'Family'
Please keep CNN OFF or if you want CNN ON then turn ON FOX to make it fair. you're just further indoctrinating our youth w/ massive propaganda. you have enuff channels put up sports and entertainment - i don't want the GYM to remind me off politics. I see enuff politics every day I don't want to see it at the OSCAR's and I DON't WANT cnn on at the gym. PERIOD. Keep politics off the family dinner table. THANKS

VIBE performance plays have awesome for my child! Staff in this program are amazing.
The teachers are kind and nurturing. The activities are engaging and hands on. My daughter is very happy every day. We love the classroom centers for play.

I've already answered this. Since I'm at the Y at least 2-3 times a week, it would be good if I didn't get this feedback request so often. To reiterate, I enjoy the pool at the Y because it is clean, warm and I've never had to share a lane (so not too busy when I'm there.) The pool staff is friendly and welcoming. The locker room is clean (Ramona (name?) is constantly cleaning) and is also never crowded. The proximity to my home is great so I can walk to the Y which tops off my good feeling for it.
Environment
I like the flexibility of the program for child care coverage and ease of being at his school. I'm also grateful that he enjoys going.
Best place
5 days a week I take water aerobics, wether shallow with Pauline, or deep water with Lori, or LaSplash, and the instructors are amazing, and the members are amazing too. It’s become like a family, a group of true friends, that if I happen to miss a class, I’ll get a text to check up on me, making sure all is ok. Now that’s a good group of people there. And the life guards are like family too, they know you by name, you’re greeted with a warm hello and goodbye, and sincere friendliness.
The pool, wether doing laps or taking a class is outstanding, best part of the Y!
I love the Salem YMCA because it is a very clean environment in which I feel safe. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I go to the Salem Y and the staff is amazing and so friendly. I like that it isn't super busy there and the class selections are great.
Great instructors (Beth who teaches rowing is the best and VERY knowledgeable) and it's a great and clean facility. The classes are terrific.

I think the Salem Y is a wonderful resource for our community. I love going to the Y to swim because it is a very welcoming place. Staff are friendly, the pool and building are well maintained (and very clean). I feel lucky to have such a great place to exercise in Salem.

It has changed tremendously since I was a kid. Also, I cancelled my membership during CoVid, and recently rejoined. It couldn’t have been any easier, the staff was super friendly and just incredibly helpful. The Salem Y is great, my hat is off to whoever helped make all of these great changes.
