The YMCA camp provides a wide variety of activities for the kids. Having a day that revolves around trying new things and not involving screen time is so vitally important! The staff are so wonderful; I always know my child is in good hands.

This was my son’s first year participating in a summer camp program. I am impressed with how much he gained from these few weeks. He learned to swim quickly thanks to the swimming lessons. He is more confident and gained more independence. I am a proud momma! His excitement each day to show up is contagious. When I pick him up he is running to me bursting with eagerness explaining his day. The activities kept him busy and engaged. I love the environment and vibe the camp radiates. Honestly, I want to be a kid at this camp!!! Grateful I chose this camp for him. See you next summer.

The y is so much to so many! It’s a place to work out, make friends and be a better you.

The vibes in Salem are the best. Everyone is friendly but minds their own business. My favorite Y. It has been really hot in the workout area though. Any way to cool it down a bit for those on the treadmills? Those built in fans don't point low enough for anyone short like me!

Jay Gould has made an engaging, inclusive, wonderful culture for theatre at the Salem YMCA. All the campers supported each other, the programming was engaging, and my child came home daily happy and wanting to return the next day. The end of week performance celebrated each camper collectively and individually. Well done!

I go to this Y primarily for the pool, which is almost never crowded, and well-maintained. I love that I can always get a lane. This is a laid-back, friendly place that doesn't have the frenzied, competitive, snobby feel of the Lynch/Van Otterloo Y.

The adult intro to pottery class is a joy. I’ve already recommended it to several acquaintances.

Best staff :) can’t wait till weight room is back :) I WOULD LIVE TO SEE BELLY DANCING COME BACK AS WELL :)

The YMCA is more than just a place to swim or workout for me. It is a community and a supportive and positive civic space. That is priceless.

My son is very connected with his teachers. He loves that he gets to do swimming and music class every week.
