Great facility
My daughter loves her swimming coach. She is not afraid of water any more. She overcame her fear of water with the help with wonderful teacher. Thank you, Salem YMCA Swimming Program team.
It's a great facility and it's never too busy. The equipment is always clean and in good condition. There are many options in the gym and I never have to wait to use any equipment or ask for assistance.

it's fun to stay at the YMCA!
While it's difficult to park at Salem Y, it's an easy walk for a resident. Why not walk and stretch prior to exercise? Lots of treadmills, bikes, other machines and weights.

Great program and coach
Gina Grinarml is an amazing coach for young people. The email system is abysmal for the Sharks and communication is somewhat poor due to the barrage of emails that don't pertain to everyone.
Friendly staff
My kids and I love it. My younger son takes swimming classes and he enjoy it so much. ♥️
It has a great community and makes getting healthy fun.
The hours are so helpful for working families and the teachers are wonderful!
I honestly don’t know much about the program or activities. My son just started Kindergarten and attends the after school program. He loves the program and is always happy at pickup.

Clean, affordable, plenty of equipment and the staff is generally very knowledgeable.
Staff communicate very well and are so friendly! My son loves the games and activities that are planned for the kids and looks forward to going!

Our daughter is loving her experience at the Y. Very little room for improvement and I don't know what control you have over the snack offerings but that is one of the few things she complains about. ;-)
There is so much to do and going to different parts of the building to do different activities is a plus. Especially with the weather we have in New England. Gives the children a place to.get out their
Energy in a safe way.
