Great place. But group exercise class at 10:30 are TOO crowded!! Need EARLIER classes.

Good place to work out. Unfortunately. I have been unable to come in because of a medical problem. Hopefully. I’ll be able to reinstate my membership very soon

The Y is obviously a great facility and there are first-rate staff who have helped me learn how to make optimal use of all the tremendous equipment.

Separately, earlier this year I had a problem with my left knee, and it was really great to have access to the top-notch physical therapy group from Addison Gilbert at the Y.

I could not be more satisfied, or impressed with the child care center. We have had terrible experiences at the Beverly child care center and yours is so inviting warm and all the employees are happy and smiling when we walk in. It is a hike from my house, but it is worth every moment. The live Christmas band you had playing today was such a lovely touch. We are thrilled. Thank you so much!

The staff is very friendly and answers any questions I might have. I come on off hours (mid morning or mid afternoon) and never have to wait for any piece of equipment.

The facility is wonderful and the staff helpful.

A few weeks ago I came to the Cape Ann YMCA looking for a venue to play indoor Pickleball during the winter, and asked to purchase a monthly Pickleball punch card (6 punches to be used in a 1-month time frame). I was offered (and chose instead) a temporary 1-month Y membership at a lower cost which would allow me full use of ALL the Y facilities and programs. It was the wisest decision, the best $61 I have ever spent, and has exceeded all expectations. What a gorgeous, new facility, so many fun fitness class options, friendly and helpful staff, and even free electric car charging stations! I have been able to play Pickleball twice a week AND sample a variety of classes including activities that I haven't ever tried before including several types of yoga, spinning, barre, and aqua classes. It has been a very upbeat, positive experience during these cold, dark December days, and has boosted my energy and mood many-fold. I intend to continue a monthly membership after this temporary trial period, and have been effusive in sharing my positive experiences at the Y... so much so that my daughter just signed up for a young-adult membership at her local YMCA.

The building is beautiful, clean, bright and good air. The gym, swimming pool and all exercise rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Your staff is great, friendly and know their stuff.
The font entrance desk staff are friendly and welcoming.

All in all the YMCA is a 10.
One problem is the architect forgot about members with ADA needs.
Only one elevator is not enough. It has broken down once and we ADA
people were stranded on the second floor util it was repaired and working again.
Not good, and being told, if that happens again. you will call the fire department staff to carry us down the stairs.
NO WAY IS THAT A SOLUTION! I suggested a stair chair be installed on the wide staircase to the second floor. When not in use, the stair chairs fold up flat against the wall and can e locked. They will not bother the other members, as one of your Administrative Staff told me. I let the glitch with the elevator go by once, but I will not do it again. If the only elevator breaks down again, I will make a ADA claim against the YMCA.
Otherwise, I think your facility is a 8 - 10.

i would like it to be recognized what an unbelievable asset ms laura is with gymnastics! Ms. vicky has always been great as she fills in when help is needed. i am very the scum for her too. the two of them together have made gymnastics s great experience for my daughter, and i’m happy to have these women involved!
also, new director austin. i can’t say enough for what s great job he does. i am very impressed how he deals with young kids during celtics basketball. the ymca picked an unbelievable candidate to take over the sports! i am happy
to see how the ymca things a great experince for the kids!
