The Y is the best option in Gloucester, and other North Shore towns, to have the full range of athletic and social activities, workout equipment, and pool, for the cost. I visit at least a couple of times a week.
The facility, equipment and people are all excellent. Price is very reasonable. Location is great.

I absolutely love the YMCA, it is beautiful in there. They did such an amazing job, I love doing the brand new circuit upstairs. I’ve been really focusing on that and I love stretching for a while before I do anything, it wakes me up, and it makes me feel so much better thank you YMCA. I love you

The Greater Beverly YMCA has the best indoor pool in the region. I thoroughly enjoy lap swimming at the Beverly Y. The new sauna on the pool deck and cold water plunge tubs are added bonuses. Great staff too; always attentive and professional.
Its a great place to work out, attend classes, and socialize.

I recently renewed my membership and was introduced to the new weight training circuit equipment by Chrissy. She was such an encouragement! She was incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable, making my return to the gym turn from intimidated to confident. I believe the hour of orientation she spent with me has already inspired my jumpstart to reaching the health goals I aim to achieve. Thanks again!
