I love the facility and ease of membership, but mostly have been recommending it because of the access to a range of classes.
I visit the Y several times per week and have found the staff friendly and the facility immaculate. Best of all, however, is Andy Macaulay, my trainer. He is patient, kind and uplifting. I love that he is able to describe the exercises precisely and then help to make adjustments as needed.
The facilities are awesome and the people are even better!
I can only exercise in the pool. Although you have many floor exercise classes, the painless way for me to be active is to swim in the pool which I feel is well maintained and very comfortable in temperature.

The Y in the North Shore has excellent equipment, great class choices, friendly and helpful staff. The facility is well-maintained and clean. And, you can't beat the membership cost!

They offers many, many great classes as well as has so much community involvement. It is a fantastic organization.
The one thing I would add as constructive feedback is that the treadmills should be cleaned more thoroughly, especially on the bottom. They are frequently very dusty on the bottom.
