The best endorsement for your skateboarding program comes from my son, JJ. He says that Matt is a great instructor and, in the time he has been taking the course, his skills have improved dramatically. Tricks that he would have had difficulty trying on his own, seem within his abilities under Matt’s guidance. Speaking for myself, I have watched Matt stand by my son and spot him as he attempts a ramp. Without Matt there, he wouldn’t have had the confidence to “drop in.” In an era in which kids spend more time staring at screens than they do playing sports, we are lucky that the Y provides athletic programs- like skateboarding- to get our children up and moving.

They span all ages

My son has always loved to skateboard. So when we heard the Y was offering a skateboard clinic, we signed him up immediately. He has thoroughly enjoyed going to skateboard Clinic every week. His skateboarding skills have improved so much. Instructor Matt is a wonderful teacher. He teaches kids at all different levels helping them master skateboarding. We are looking forward more skateboarding programs.We hope the Y will continue to offer more skateboarding programs.

Pre School Soccer was awesome for our four year old granddaughter. The coaches were superb and know exactly how to work with that age group. Our older granddaughter tried the K town soccer several years ago and it was a disaster. wish we had known about the Y program then.

McKayla LOVES going to gymnastics! Loving that she gets a second day attending the preschool program. Would like if there was some information relayed about open gyms. Reason for 9 and not the 10 is I am NOT happy that we had to wait to sign up for her new session because she has the membership herself vs. a family membership. I can totally see giving members first option and non-members having another date but find it completely unfair to have to wait to register due to type of membership. A membership should constitute as a membership regardless of the type.

we like the format of this fall session

My daughter is learning a lot of skills but also truly having fun doing it. She is always excited for swim class!

Maria has been so great! It’s easy to see that she loves connecting with the kiddos and they love her! We’ve seen so much progress in our daughter’s confidence in the water in just a few months.
