I had an idea what I wanted but the service guy gave some good advice. I bought what I thought but the ideas were good. Trek (not you) does make one do add-ons like kickstand and fenders. I know some may not like it but it does add to the cost. The pricing was what I expected.

I stopped in for service....had put my wheel together wrong. Service guy was super nice/patient explaining what went wrong....they recommended a replacement of grease. Bike was done faster than expected and he showed me what to new grease looked like (red) vs the old dirty grease (grey).

Just tried my new 45nrth Wrathchild tires! Drove over every snow pile and drift in town. Have not lost any studs. Can’t wait to get on the trail.
