I've been coming in to Nikki, for haircuts, since January, 2020, and I wouldn't go to anybody else ! ! ! I have very fine, thin hair that tends to "frizz", so having a stylist that understands my hair is really important to me. I had a stylist years ago, that was wonderful. When she moved on, she said, "always remember to tell your hairdresser to undercut your hair", so that it will look as though it has more body. She showed me what she meant, and since that time, the first thing I ask a new stylist is what "undercut" means to them. If I get the wrong answer, I move on to somebody else. Nikki not only got it RIGHT, when I asked, she gave me a cut that made me feel I had twice the amount of hair on my head !!! She is knowledgeable, sweet, and works very quickly!
In general, I find Sports Clips/Newbury Park is clean, and the staff all seem to be helpful and friendly.

My stylist Nikki was awesome. Not only was she funny and kind she took the time to make sure my haircut was exactly how I wanted it. Nikki was very knowledgeable about the products she uses and informed me which ones to stay away from and which one might be beneficial to my hair.

Love the app though it does not always work right- but sure beats waiting for an hour with a squirmy 5 year old. Shop is clean and stylists friendly. Matalya is so amazing with kids and parents alike and always nails the cut.

I looked when I left the house for wait time and it was zero, but when we got there it was over 40 min wait. The service was a complete 10. Excellent hair cut and customer service.
