You offer a wide range of products for a wide range of outdoor activities for a wide range of fitness and experience levels. You also have a knowledgeable staff who can advise on the strength or drawbacks of any choice, and ask smart questions in order to target that advice. The staff are also unfailingly courteous and good-natured. I like the layout of the store, it has a very spacious feel while containing a whole buncha stuff for both men and women of any height or weight. Love the basement! Found a great soft grey blazer there last week, Made in Canada, which I really appreciate. Also bought a magenta poopscoop, great for digging out native plants for the garden, and significantly lighter than a folding shovel.

The service was good as well as educational. I'm just taking up cross country skiing so had lots to learn about equipment.
I was thrilled to find a pair of Lowa hiking boots that fit me perfectly. I have searched for this brand of boot in many other stores and couldn't find it, so after 15 years (when I purchased the previous pair), I returned to Wild Rock Outfitters. The service and the product are both excellent. Even though I have to travel for 1.5 hours to get to the store, I will continue to shop there. It is well worth the trip!

Knowledgeable super friendly staff, range of quality products that I never regret purchasing, the sale room downstairs is always a fun exploration, and well behaved dogs are allowed into the store.
I would love to see quality dog adventuring gear in the store - Ruffwear, Hurrta, cani-cross/skijoring gear, etc. The local pet stores typically deal in inexpensive, heavy (weight) home use items...not light, tough gear designed for dogs who carry loads into the backcounty or play hard with their people.
