I love the bright sunny structure. It's great architecture. They have the best swim facilities of any YMCA I have ever seen! The large warm pool is so good for anyone with joint issues, or as a warm up to going into the lap pool.

I have been very pleased with our swim lesson experiences lately. I didn't love the "parent and me" versions we did when she was younger, as I felt the classes were too large, and the instructor didn't give enough feedback, I always felt confused about what we were supposed to be doing. But the lessons with Miss Maddie have been excellent, and my daughter absolutely loves coming!
The instructor is very patient and kind to my daughter. She's incredibly competent and encourages confidence.

Having visited several other Ys in the metro area, I’ve decided that the New Albany Y is my favorite. I enjoy the conversing with other patrons and the staff at New Albany Y. The therapy pool is my reward for working out.

Availability and variety of equipment
I like the variety of fitness equipment and options, love the walking track and the exceptional cleanliness of the facility. Also, the staff are outstandingly welcoming, helpful, encouraging and supportive.

There are a lot of classes, and the facilities are quite clean. My biggest complaint is the cost, as it's quite expensive for my family.
