I have the silver slippers and it is clean and I like talking to others and the equipment is well cared for. Just a nice atmosphere.

They have a lot to offer with group exercise classes, strength and aerobic training machines and 3 pools including a kiddie pool. Great place for meeting people and they offer many active older adult activities.

6:00 a.m. group classes with Whitney and Dale at the Floyd County YMCA--they have created true community in that 6:00 a.m. hour.

What do you like best about the YMCA?

Over the years I've met some very nice people at the Y in New Albany. I live in Louisville but cycle to the New Albany Y when Mother Nature is in a cooperative mood. The new EGYM program is challenging and the therapy pool and steam room are my rewards for having worked out.
