I like that its close to my house. I like that its spacious enough that the track, basketball, the pool, and the exercise rooms are spaced out enough that we don't feel cluttered in one room.
On the downside, I went in the female restroom/locker room on two separate occasions, and it needed cleaning.
The Floyd County YMCA is a really beautiful facility and very well maintained. It is just an overall very pleasant experience being there.
The pool temperature is better than all the other y locations.

Atmosphere, staff and clean
I use the water classes to keep moving while healing from an injury. Classes always start on time. Teachers seem committed. Members are friendly.

There is good availability in class , parking lot not too full. Facility is clean and convenient.
