Always friendly staff that are willing to help in any way needed. Facility is clean and tidy.
My favorite class is Yoga with Brett on Monday and Wednesday evenings. He is knowledgeable and accommodates all people to his class. I so appreciate that!

The Staff is always ready to help you. The facility is always clean and welcoming. The variety of classes and machines available. All of these qualities make for a great place to be. With all the New Albany Y has to offer, it also attracts some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Some of these people have become some of my favorite friends!

I like the fact you are remembering the senior citizens and that we are part of the program and not on the side of the program this means a lot because it makes me feel like I'm still alive and I'm a person and my feelings do count I enjoyed the classes I just wish we had more but as it is we getting what we get so that's truly a blessing I just thank God for that.
Get to meet people your age are closer either younger but it shows that we older senior citizens still have a life and we still should be able to be involved in activity things with the why

I only use the aquatic center. And I enjoy the fact that children have their own pool section to use while their parents swim. The warm water pool is my favorite . I also enjoy the water fitness classes available at Floyd county. I live in Louisville and travel to Floyd county YMCA 4 days a week to attend a water exercise class. Last but not least. I like the encouraging bible verses that are in the basket at the front desk. I get one on my way out after each visit . Bless the people that take the time to cut those strips of paper to bless others. Floyd county is my Y. 😀

It’s a safe comfortable environment to work out, work hard, and pursue your exercise interests, whatever they may be. Boredom is non existent between the machines, the pool, the track, the courts, the classes, and the rock wall. The staff is super welcoming and the other members are cordial and non judgmental.
I absolutely love the warm water classes with Jill She stays focused and keeps everyone engaged.
I had a broken back and had used the therapy pool before and after back surgery. After finally getting the back surgery two years ago, the warm therapy pool had helped me get stronger. Last fall, I could not get rid of a cold so I gave up my membership. I have to say that it was the worst decision that I have ever made, as all of my strenghth was severely reduced. Recently, I have rejoined the YMCA, and I am back at using the warm water therapy pool again. When I get better, I will try some other things but right now, I am just too weak for anything but the therapy pool. I plan to be a long time member. I will be 72 this summer.
I also like meeting lots of nice people!
