This was a challenging closing and Katie handled it and the sellers with care and aplomb! The sellers were separating and had different levels and means of investment in the property. The sellers were not on the best of terms seeing it as a divorce-like situation. Katie figured out that something was perhaps awry between the seller and reached out for insight. She was able to kindly navigate the parties through the complexities of payoffs, paybacks, and paperwork.
