I was at the Wilkerson YMCA on June 24 when the building had to be evacuated due to a gas leak.. The staff did a great job in getting everyone out of the building in an orderly and efficient manner. They were well prepared and very professional during the evacuation. There were lots of young children that had to be taken care of as well as senior citizens. The temperatures outside were in the upper 90s with a heat index of over 100. Remarkably, there were no cases of heat stroke. The children and seniors were moved into shaded areas and bottled water was handed out. As soon as part of the building was cleared by the fire marshal they moved the children inside.. Everything was handled in a very orderly manner.
Please congratulate the staff on a job well done.

The only complaint I have is that the method of posting the pool schedule is so cryptic and near impossible to figure out which pool lanes are open when and for which pool.

The Aqua Tabata instructor is amazing! Tara is knowledgeable, inclusive and obviously passionate about the aquatic class and participants.

The pool does need to be lengthened to 25 meters instead of yards.
Th men's locker room needs a fan and a swimsuit dryer.
I like that the instructor was very hands on and explained what they were learning for the day and very hands on. My child really enjoyed his experience with swim lessons and loves practicing at home, he is more comfortable with jumping in the water and trying to swim.
I like when I come to my body design class and there are weights available. Most of the time when I get there 30 minutes before class the weights are all taken and I can’t get as much out of the class because the weights are not sufficient.
I just joined so, I'm ready to experience the NNY.
We attend a pool aerobics class and use the weight room. The class is great - very challenging and well worth our time. The weight room is generally well-equipped with minimal wait times on equipment.

I like everything! The facility is very nice, and there is a large variety of activities for ALL! I am somewhat disabled and am very fortunate to be able to take some of the classes which keep me going!
Also, the staff is very helpful and pleasant!
