I like the fact that you have indoor trash because I can’t walk on the treadmill. Also enjoy the fellowship with the other members. Most of the employees very nice and professional.
I think there should one better watch on people who just sit and look at their phones on the front machine and also something should be said when people jump from one machine to the next never wipe the equipment when done. The employees could remind these people the rules.
You meet people, the staff @ the counter are very Friendly and polite and it is good to socialize and drink coffee

I love the yoga classes
I go at the same time when the workout area is not that busy (usually after 1PM). Over the years, I have met many of the same people, both staff and gym members.

I love the Fort Monroe Y. The building is beautiful, I love that there is always a puzzle going, and the staff is very friendly. Shout out to Maria at the front desk and the best yoga teacher I've ever had, Jane. I've been taking yoga classes for 20 years, and nothing has come close to her class. The bathrooms are always clean and the vibe is peaceful inside. A great local option.
