The staff is very friendly and takes time to introduce the facility and equipment to you. Everyone really seems to enjoy their job and it shows up on how they interact with the public.

I’m taking silver sneakers classes on Tuesday and Thursday.
This class is so popular you have to get there 15 minutes before class or you won’t have a seat. Every class there are 5 to 10 people standing.
Tina teaches and is awesome!
There aren’t enough chairs as they have to be a special silver sneaker chair. When the door opens it’s like musical chairs.
What is needed is an additional class with another certified teacher.
So many people benefit from this class but something needs to be done

I love the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the classes. The instructors care about their students and they are very knowledgeable.
I wish the facility was cleaner. From the locker room, bathroom and shower area to the group exercise room, weight room and gym, a thorough cleaning needs to be done.

I like everything about the Hampton YMCA. The equipment, the patrons, the very friendly staff (especially Ms. Nicole Johnson, who is always so helpful). I also like the hours and location.

Hello I have good experience but for swimming everyday I have to wait for lane. It’s little frustrating.
The staff - instructors, front desk support staff, janitorial staff are all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Instructors are encouraging and knowledgeable. We are always greeted, by name, and are always willing to provide help and support. The facility is very clean and feels sanitized.
The programs that will Last name removed community within the Y are very helpful. It is wonderful to see that the Y is committed to its members and the sub-groups within the membership.
I am delighted that MixxFit/Thursday class has been moved into the gym - larger area and a cooler environment! I am looking forward to the a/c being turned on as it is quite humid in the facility, especially once we start working out. It would be helpful if the oscillation feature on the fans worked. The BodyPump classes are a big hit!! This is evidenced by the fact that there are more members than equipment. Abs and More faces the same challenge with regard to lack of and proper working condition of the equipment, to meet the needs of participants. In spite of these challenges, it is an amazing place to work towards health and wellness. That you ask for feedback says that you are interested in hearing both; praise and suggestions on what could be improved upon. Thank you for taking time to read this.
