we have only been a member 2 days, but have enjoyed using the treadmill. everyone is friendly and the facility is well maintained
The staff is ALLWAYS welcoming & friendly and cooperative. Facilities are generally very clean & well kept.
We love the staff especially Sally and Ally. Sally always greets us with a smile and sometimes a song. She is great. Every Y should have a Sally. Ally is a terrific water aerobics instructor. She helps you if you're you're struggling with a move and offers advice for which pieces of equipment are best for you. Ally is also positive, encouraging, and friendly. Ally keeps us motivated to come to class even if we're not feeling it that day.

My Personal Training session was very informative and helpful. I also liked the facilities. Ms. Lana Herzer, my personal trainer, was professional and very knowledgeable about physical health and wellness. She is an asset to the YMCA!

The facility was easy to locate. It was clean, bright and welcoming. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Andrea met with me and discussed my goals and offered additional information. She followed up with me the next day with information about the personal trainer program and gave me additional information.
I could not be happier with my experience at the Ft. Monroe YMCA. I highly recommend this YMCA facility.

This was my daughter's first sleep away camp experience and she had an amazing time! The staff were great and she raved about the food!
I greatly enjoy this location! It's always clean, well kept and the employees are extremely nice. The only complaint I have is that this location is VERY warm in the summer. Not sure if more fans or an upgrade to the HVAC is needed.
There are a number of group exercises to participate.
The Y is a place where I not just go to excercise but a place to share with others.
Involvement and the extent is a personal decision that informs and affects one as well as others. Participation is an individual decision that can grow over time at one’s own pace.
The community found at the Y can stimulate and motivate to improve self and others as well. What that becomes is up to one and the interaction with others. That is the personal responsibility or challenge we take on depending on own personal circumstances.
I encourage all to try and make the most of it. I’m certain that it’ll be worth the investment and enjoy a great return in terms of personal and physical satisfaction.
