I initially bought my bike here because of the great service I experienced when I was first buying my bike. Unfortunately, the interactions I had after this were not so great. Staff gave me the impression I was wasting their time asking questions about accessories I was interested in. When I had to bring in my bike for a recall on replacement pedals, the first thing I noticed was that they didn’t give any form of record for taking in my bike. They had me in their database, but how difficult would it have been to send an automated email saying they received my bike as a record for myself. No big deal just a note on how you might improve your customer experience, but when I did go in to pick up my bike again, the recall is also supposed to include a $26 credit. I had to ask the staff about this credit and he said it was supposed to only go towards the replacement of the pedal. So while going back into my car I look at the Trek notifications again and it clearly says
In addition, when you bring your recalled pedals to a Trek retailer for replacement, Trek will give you an in-store credit of $26 to use toward any Trek or Bontrager merchandise. The credit is good through December 31, 2021 and has no cash value.
So I go in and show them the notification and they say they will give me the credit… great right. Then I say I want to buy the Bontrager Full Bend Bar Ends for my FX3. He says they don’t work on my bike. So I don’t end up buying that. They tell me if I want to buy something else I could use it later or just buy something online and mention the credit. Ok. I go home and do a search online and see that the Full Bend Bar Ends would work for my bike if I had the adapter as well (Here is an example of someone who has put Bend Bar Ends on their FX3.

It takes me 1 hour to get down to this shop and I had to go in twice. I don’t want to keep wasitng my time and I’d rather not go in again just to pick up an item and getting it shipped would be an extra $15 or whatever it is. Hopefully, this comment will help you to improve your customer experience.

I’m pretty impressed with the products and service from Sweet Pete’s. Having stock of my preferred commuting tire (Schwalbe Marathon) and having it delivered within the week is exceptional. Getting a hold of bike parts is not easy right now. I’ve been a customer at larger retail chains and would recommend the service and product selection at sweet Pete’s again.

I was delighted to find that Sweet Pete's had the tires I wanted in stock. To discover that they were at a reduced price was a bonus. Their online ordering process was very easy to use and their guest sign in allowed for a speedy process. The tires were shipped the same day and their choice of packaging and delivery resulted in the tires arriving 3 business days ahead of the original prediction. All in all, a very positive experience.
