Great customer service.
They have a great bike selection and excellent customer service. The people that work their take their time to understand what you are looking for in a bike and find the right bike for you.
Very helpful and knowledgeable service
All of the explanations of costs, methods, and problems were explained so clearly and kindly. I forgot to ask the name of the person liaising with me, but they were an incredible listener and very articulate. Thank you so much!
First off, let me say that there were a few great staff at Sweet Pete's for whom this assessment is not reflective. However, here's the issue:
I ordered bike shoes in early August.
Told they would take as little as two days and as much as two weeks to come in.
Three weeks later I called, only to be told that there's been staff turnover and my shoes were not yet ordered. (I did appreciate the candour, though it was annoying to have waited for nothing).
When the shoes came in about two weeks later, the shoes which came in were the wrong ones -- instead of black, extra-wide mountain bike shoes in a certain size and model, they were white road shoes that were the wrong size and wrong model. That was certainly the manufacturer's/distributor's error (Lake) but surely someone at Sweet Pete's should have checked the order as it arrived before calling me to tell me they were there.
They re-ordered the shoes and Tuvi got them to arrive the next day, if not the same day. That was great service. Unfortunately, when I came in yesterday and tried the shoes on, they didn't come close to fitting me.
So after being charged $519 in August and coming into the store five times (which, btw, is a big schlep), I walked away yesterday with nothing.
I'll start from scratch and pursue a different bike shoe at a different store.
Like I said, on the whole, great attitude by your salespeople, but just disappointed on a number of fronts, all of which contributed to my scoring you a 4. Hope that helps.
Your online ordering system was easy. Although I didn't end up purchasing the bike in the end due to a situationat my end, the staff was super helpful and the cancellation policy worked exactly as promised. I'll be back!!
Great selection with inviting and helpful staff. Return program for kids is a great extra unexpected benefit.
Lower pricing would be nice!! hahaha
I'm always happy with the customer service. Good, friendly people. Recently I got my fenders installed and one of the screws was too long and jammed up my chain when I changed gears ...had to walk back from about 10 minutes away and get it readjusted. A simple mistake and no big deal, but I think a quick run through the gears woukd have caught it.
I have bought several bikes from SP over the years and it is my go-to bike shop. I go out of my way to get there.

The efficiency and care in hospitality. I needed my pedals replaced, and within a couple of minutes they were fixed! I will definitely come back for all my bike needs:)
Lots of items on website but not at the store. Hard to buy items without seeing it in person.

Likewise, the mechanic, Alex, who serviced my bike was very helpful and gave me options that were easy to understand and flexible based on my price constraints
