I’ve been going there for years. It’s my local bike shop. Great staff, fair prices good service.
I came in with an emergency need! My seat post was seized inside my frame and I was leaving the next day to ride overseas. The service staff got right into it and solved the problem with persistence and skill. I am so grateful! And all that on a Sunday. Thank you!!

great price on bike but when I called and asked if this was a new bike there was no mention of the very visible scratch. Had I known I probably would not have driven 60 min to pick it up. Do not like surprises especially scratches on supposedly new bikes. There are many many bike shops in Toronto, never mind if you go south. This is my second over 2k buy and it will be my last. Just bot a fridge from best buy and they clearly labelled it as 'scratched' hence reduced not just 'sale'. Sale, means new not used/returned/scratched. Be honest, our generation has $ to burn but not here. I ride with a large group bad news spreads faster than good. Would not even throw in a pair of gloves for free? really.

it’s super helpful that Sweet Pete’s is open on Mondays since more and more bike shops in the city have changed their hours to Tuesday-Sunday! I would have been SOL if I hadn’t been able to get a new seat post installed before my work week began the next day!

Friendly and professional service; no upselling
I thought I was having to work so hard pedalling my Sweet Pete's bike because I'm getting too old and feeble. But I love my bike -- it's my excellent mobility aid -- so I stopped by to ask if maybe something was wrong with my bike instead of with me. They took a look and found that the springs on my brakes weren't working and so my brakes were sticking on the wheel rim.
Because I can ride but not really walk well (arthritis), leaving my bike in for repair requires extra planning for a ride home and a ride back. To my happy surprise, the staff said, "we'll do it right now." They took my bike to the back, replaced the brakes, entertained me with lively conversation while I was waiting, and then sent me out the door with a bike that worked way better. For the bargain price of $69 I was able to zip off down the road as though I was 45 again, instead of 78. Like magic. What a great place.

On-line order was available for pick up in the store a mere 4 bus. days after I placed it (vs 5-7 days advertised). 2 gents offered and helped me to get the 3 pieces assembled and installed on my bike, on the spot.

I was very impressed with Alex's helpful service assembling my Tacx trainer stand and showing me how to use it. I also appreciated the advice I received when trying to decide which trainer stand to buy.
The only problem I had was that the Confirmation for my order said, "For in-store pick-up orders, please wait for a 2nd email from us indicating your order is ready.", but I never received a second email. When I eventually phoned about it, I was told it had arrived at the store a number of weeks ago.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was able to get my product fixed in a timely manner. I also purchased an attractive safety vest that I had not planned on buying but was impressed with the product and it was on sale.
