I drive 65 miles each way to go to Pedals and Pedals for sales and service on my bicycles, it is worth the trip . Ted and his staff go above and beyond , he repaired my bicycle the other day while I waited to save me a trip back to pick it up . If you are in the market for a bicycle or have quality repairs or service done this is the place to go.
We have known the owner of Pedals and Petals, Ted, for years and he is very helpful and knowledgeable. He has fixed our bikes on several occasions and we have also bought a couple bikes from him. My husband enjoys talking and working with Ted.

I’ve been taking my bicycles to Ted for repairs and tuneups for many years. He is polite and provides competent and timely service. I would recommend Pedals and Petals to anyone needing work done on their bikes. He also has a nice lineup of electric and non-electric bikes and high quality biking accessories.

Bike rentals should include water bottle holder and lock. When they didn’t you fixed that. Great route recommendations. Nice bikes. Patient and encouraging for non bike riders. Offer a half and reasonable rate. If that were available we would have ridden multiple days.

We used the store to rent bikes in previous years and parts this year. Staff has always been super friendly, helpful, and willing to assist. Great spot in the western Adks.

Renting was very easy and had clear policies that were easy to follow. I popped a tire and tube then went tubeless for a fair price. They had the repair done in 45 minutes or so.
Ted came through outside of normal business hours to make bike rentals possible for our tour. Not only did it help Bike Adirondacks, but it helped our guests enjoy their experience of cycling in the Adirondacks.
