As background, this purchase was made in summer 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, restricted hours, and severe shortages of bicycles. Jarrod in Trek's home office in Wisconsin was able to identify for me that Holland's had the only Trek bike in the country that was the model and size my wife needed. I am 75 years old, and have been riding bikes since early childhood. Lucas is the best bike sales person I have ever bought a bike from.
Lucas was so nice and chose the perfect bike for me, since I was not able to go into the store due to COVID. I am really enjoying my new, Electra Townie with flat foot technology. If you have back or neck pain, this bike is so comfortable it feels like riding on a couch.

Hollands in Coronado is by far the BEST service in San Diego. I've been here 24 years, lived all over the county and used numerous bike shops. Simply from an economical and timeliness perspective, no other shop or bike dealer comes close. Repairs or work requests are very quick turnarounds, never any upsell attempts, and by far the most economical. Superb staff,. Tyler, Quinn and Kate and others are excellent.
I always forget about your bike shop. I don't spend a lot of time in Coronado, even though it's in my top 5 favorite places in San Diego. I live in Bonita and especially since this Pandemic started, I've been staying close to home. Well, I will start getting out more on my new bike. I like the fact that Hollands had bikes available and the sales service was great, even though customers are not allowed in the shop. The bike was available a day before promised, which is wonderful. The only thing that could have been better is the delivery. When I picked it up, it would have been nice to go through the bike, and test ride to make sure suspension was dialed and shifting etc. When I got home, I had to make a few adjustments to the drivetrain. The B Screw, and barrel both needed to be adjusted as the bike was not shifting quite right.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend.

We’ve bought 3 bikes from Holland’s. One was a kids Specialized this past Christmas. And yesterday Lucas drove to Poway to deliver two adult bikes to us. Great service, friendly staff, and high quality products. Even during Covid-19 they had all the safe precautionary measures in place. You can’t go wrong with Holland’s Bicycles.
