What do you like about your Y experience?

This is a great gym. I would like to see a couple more rowing machines. There are only 3 and they seem to be a favorite place for kids during peak hours. I'm not saying the kids should be banned, there just need to be a few more machines. Also, the tap to fill water bottles downstairs (near the stairs to the pool) is broken.

I appreciate all of the nice new renovations, but the institutional green color is horrendous. Maybe a nice blue?

Other than those things, I enjoy my time at the Y. I feel like the family atmosphere makes it a great place to work out, because there are so many different types of people there. I have tried other (more expensive) gyms and ended up being intimidated by all of the super-fit (and dare I say it) young people. At the Y I see all ages of people with all levels of fitness. It makes this chubby, grandma feel right at home. Keep up the good work.

Love the Y. Especially the newly renovated Arnold location. A great mix of men/women young/old white/black/purple & green. All walks of like. Good safe family vibe.
My two wishes: extended evening hours on weekends (even if only till 8 PM) & updated/larger steam rooms.
Other than that keep it up.

Soaring ceilings create a spacious exercise area, allowing air to flow. There's also much more workout space than other gyms, a year-round pool, separate pool locker room, an assortment of classes, friendly staff, and plenty of parking.

Tons of good equipment always a trainer there to ask questions about a stretch or workout.
Pool and racket sports if I want. There are multiple locations. There is a current renovation to make the facility even nicer. What's not to like.

Hi!
Thanks for making the many improvements.
- The lobby is spacious and check-in is easy.
- It's very easy to access the lower level with the wide, spacious stairwell
- Love the new floor in the big exercise room.

PLEASE - The lights in the lobby area are too bright and hurt my eyes. When I walk through that area, I need to look down. It would be really helpful if you could rework the lighting so it's not so bright. - For example, have less lights or dim them.

My 5 yr old grandson loves his swimming instructors and he has steadily progressed from non swimmer to now achieving the breast and butterfly strokes! He cant wait to go down the slide at the Pasadena pool with his green band when summer comes. Miss Nicki kept him motivated to advance. Thanks!
