What do you like about your Y experience?

It's a great family/community gym. It would be nice if there was a family pool and a separate lap pool. Not as big an issue for us now that our son is grown, but there were lots of times when we were squished in a small space with lots of people trying to play with our son and teach him to swim. Seems like there's space in that back parking lot for an expansion - just a suggestion.

We have been very happy with the YMCA COVID protocalls. We have been swimming multiples times per week since the pool opened in June 2020(??) after COVID struck. We have found that the small amount of people allowed to swim at one time has allowed us to continue to exercise ina fairly safe environment.

Friendly customer service. Lifeguards that, for the most part, are doing their job. (Summer is better, when they tend to be very alert and watchful.) Clean facilities. Variety of classes. Pool. Water classes. Community oriented.

Our son enjoyed the soccer session. The coaches were fun, positive and energetic. Our son learned new skills and had the opportunity to practice them.

Most of the stuff are very friendly, but one thing I am concerned is that the pool where the family swim is that I’ve been told that because the pool is heavily chlorinated, they don’t vacuum the pool.
I have seen debris inside of the pool.
I’ve they clean the pool regularly, this problem will be fix.

Really enjoy Jeannie's water aerobic classes. She is my favorite instructor and inspires the class to have fun but work hard.
