We go between the Arnold and Pasadena Y (pool options are better in Pasadena), but the Stay n Play is a lifesaver with 2 kids under 3! The affordable rates allow us to go us a family some days and the rock wall in Arnold is super cool. Everyone has been friendly too which is always a bonus :)

Although the Y in Pasadena and Arnold have a good selection of cardio equipment, many of TVs/audio systems do not work!
Both pools are well-maintained and the lifeguards are friendly!
A broad range of programs.
The number of aqua classes offered at time not so early in the am. For the number of members the facility is pretty well maintained.
Couple of suggestion, in forward womens locker room showers. Mark the floor where it steps down. Have heard several people stumble almost fall (myself included) when using those showers. Should be easy fix.
I wonder why the pool water is not blue? It is greenish and cloudy. Pasadena has larger pool however there water is blue. Is there a way to clean it up?

The Y may not be the best environment for everyone simply because you can’t please everyone. These folks work very hard to create an outreach environment for people who like to meet others. The friendliness is everywhere! Staff and clientele!

I like that the Arnold Y keeps the pool open on week nights until 8:50. I wish the Y in Central Maryland could go back to 10 PM closings. I wish that the Y in Pasadena kept its pool open a little closer to closing time than it does now. I like that I can go to multiple locations to find machines that work better for me. I like that the staff are friendly.
My body pump class .Tiffany rocks !!!in my 47 years of life no one has ever had the ability to make me wake up 4:30 pm to work out. She is incredible. Her energy is contagious… even at 5:30 am.
Friendly helpful staff. A lot of free weights.
I love my trainer Kiki! She is amazing and so dedicated. She pays so much time to my needs and creates the most inventive workouts. She’s fantastic!

Staff: Very polite, respectful, and helpful. Equipment: state-of-the-art. Classes: excellent. I have been a member for three years and during this time my experience has been very positive.

Improvement would be less tables on cafe area and more seats for reading or talking. Or having cafe food available again. The space feels outdated as an eating area and fills up quickly since usually tables aren’t shared. Once one person sits down, those 4 chairs at a table are essentially taken.
Stay and play hours in early afternoon for parents staying home with kids or working unconventional hours. Waiting until the 4pm open time can interfere with dinner time.
Everyone was very friendly when joining. It's a very large space and not too crowded.
