I just use the weight machines and the bicycle. I like the convenient location, the fact that the machines and bicycles have pretty good availability during the day, and the machines have a nice solid feel. I have been to some YMCA's on vacation that have less solid machines. Staff seems pleasant.
Some Y's I have visited have both indoor and outdoor pools. That seems nice, although I probably still wouldn't use the pool.

I love the friendly attitude of all the workers-from the time you enter until you leave. I enjoy the warm water pool class-MWF- 9:00am. Genevieve is always inspiring. She teaches her classes like she really enjoys being there. I really like that she has demonstrated to all of us how consistent determination is the key to losing weight. I love the hours of the Warm Pool too. The Y is a wonderful place to go. My husband has really enjoyed using ActivTrac. He has gotten so much stronger. He is most pleased with the gym equipment. The Dancel Y is truly about the whole family. Even though I am a Senior, I like that they appeal to all ages.
I love the classes, the circuit and all that it has to offer!
We enjoyed Ms. Haley. I wish someone could have told us to register my son sooner for the next level. Now he has a gap in the instructions.
It really has everything that I need: a gym, classes, childcare, summer camps and an app that helps me with my workout since I can't afford a personal trainer. The facility is always clean, the machines are in great condition, if I have any questions someone is always there to help. Overall the Y has been a great experience for me and I look forward to many more years of membership.
I came to Dancel Y to learn about the sauna as few places have one. I will be using it in the future (just joined the Y). The client assistant at the front desk was very helpful. Thank you.

I like the overall environment, and the facilities. I especially like the gymnasium, with the diverse accessibility of equipment and free excercise programs and classes. Although, a small suggestion would be he parking lot size.

My kids (age 5 & 7) have done Parents Night Out a few times at this Y. They have a blast while Mom and Dad get a little free time. We also enjoy our workouts on the weekend while kids are playing happily in Stay and Play.
Buffy is a fabulous teacher. She finds ways to individualize a group lesson. The facility is nice and clean. Staff are friendly.
The coach is great and her drills helped the kids improve their skills.
The Coach is very patient and gives the kids useful drills to do each week.
The skidoo’s karate program is very family friendly and flexible.
The Blue Crab swim team and stroke and turn classes are great!
We recommend the Y almost daily to friends. We love the up to date facilities— and are really excited about the update to locker rooms!
