Overall it is very positive, however there seem to be a trend of preteens being left unsupervised and playing on the equipment. Especially on the weekend, while adults are waiting for said equipment.
I think you all have done a wonderful job. I primarily use the elliptical machines and the weight room but will be bringing my son to your swim lessons.
Dancel is a Fun place, always able to get in pool, get on a bike. Wish there was a smoothie bar year round. Sometimes the showers could be cleaner (lots of hair in drain), and water temperature is not always controllable. Visited the Catonsville location but on more than 1 occasion I have not been able to swim in a free unused lane of the pool even though it was not being used. Told it was reserved, etc. How I’m always able to swim at the location that is much more busy is a mystery to me. After 3 attempts but no success, it’s unlikely I’ll go back to Catonsville, Dancel for me!

Everything is run efficiently and staff members are always available and kind. However, it is to crowded in the fitness area and only one swim lap lane is available some days at a convenient time.

Variety of activities and equipment, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent trainers. I also like the well-staffed and equipped stay and play program; my grandson moved it when I took him there.
I love the classes!! So far I’ve done body pump and cycle. All the instructors have been awesome. I can’t wait to try kickboxing and cardio blast! My kids also love the play area. It took them a couple of times to get comfortable but now they really enjoy it! This summer we’ll be visiting some of the other Ys for the outdoor pool and splash pad. We already had a friend sign up and another one thinking about it. I definitely recommend your facility.
Workers are friendly and professional. The various classes and activities are adequate.
I love all of the activities offered but can we quiet the rattling the in yoga studio? It so loud and distracting when trying to calm the mind.
Also, I feel like more Zumba and the like classes need to be offered. The classes are usually full and make it difficult to reach my fitness goals.
We loved the PJ party. They had a moonbounce, hair colorings, design your own pillowcases and some other awesome stuff. They also had cereal and snacks to eat. But the moonbounce was the favorite thing for my girls. We love all of these events that the y puts on. It gives us things to do together as a family that we can all enjoy!
Clean very friendly staff and plenty of exercise classes to choose from
I give it a 9+. Only thing stopping it from 10 is sometimes when machine breaks down is not replaced anywhere near time it is supposed to be back.
Everyone is friendly and helpful, it is clean and the pool is great.

I love the variety of classes, the workout equipment, and that there's a pool - all included in the membership. The Y is the best value for fitness in this area, hands down! Plus everyone I've met, from patrons to employees has been friendly. There's a great energy at the Y!

Have all equipment for fitness including swimming pool. also had classes for yoga, dancing, tai chi etc.
only thing is some time of the day is very crowded and need to wait to use equipment.
Place is clean and friendly; has most of the necessary equipment.
