I came in on a Friday to simply browse and had a very positive interaction with the associate Bay. He was friendly, informative, very knowledgable, yet not overbearing or pushy. I live a few hours from Greenville and was just passing through for work. My positive experience on Friday led me to stop in the following day when I found myself back in Greenville, this time with the intention of purchasing a bike. I worked with Bay again and he was, again, very helpful and knowledgable. I was very happy with the purchasing experience, the information offered to me, and the custom fitting once I purchased the bicycle. All of the other associates that I dealt with at the store were also positive and helpful.
Trek Spartanburg has incredible customer service. Even while the mechanic has a long list of repairs to do, the walk-in customer is always attended to. Taking the time to fix a flat, repair a tire, do a check in the moment puts Trek Spartanburg above many other LBS in the area.
My case in particular. I wanted to replace my tires and tubes after having had 5-5 issues with punctures, flats, etc. A call to my usual LBS revealed I would need to leave the bike for a one week wait time for this service. But one call to Trek and I was easily accommodated into that afternoon for turn around. The long list of repairs are not dramatically hampered by a few drop-ins. I could understand if the repair list never made progress.

Skylar was very attentive and answered the phone every time I called. Any delay was caused by the bike manufacturer (another story). But AC was great to work with. Will probably buy my next E-Bike from them in the upcoming months.

Generally, the staff is welcoming and very engaging. I have used the Vinings location as my “primary” Atlanta Cycling location since moving to metro Atlanta in 2018. They have received my bike during moves and shipped the bikes during moves. During this particular experience (receiving), I didn’t feel the “welcoming & engaging” atmosphere of previous visits. The visit was very transactional versus relational. I trust that this is an isolated experience and will continue to support the business and location.
