Great environment, great way to introduce kids to sports. The customer service, atmosphere and clean facility makes are all reasons why I would recommend to others.
This was my daughter’s first year at camp, and she absolutely loved it! The counselors were amazing and very attentive. There was a brief moment when my daughter felt bullied by another camper, but once the situation was brought to the adults’ attention, they handled it quickly and effectively. Many days she came home excited to share all the new things she had learned. Her favorite part of camp was participating in the Sports Club. I would highly recommend the Y to any parent looking for a fun, safe, and enriching camp experience for their child.
My son is always excited to go, plus the staff takes the time to get to know the kids so it’s more than just childcare.

Coach Nancy is great. The facility is always in good shape. Would be better if there was a morning option since have the summer was canceled due to lightning.
Sports are critical for the development of youth, especially boys. Im grateful to have a year-round option, close by, affordable, and well organized!

First off as you’re driving into the property, the facility and amenities are just amazing! Then you walk into a comforting staff who help as much as they can for whatever you are requesting or wondering about. Then the inside is great!
My child truly has had a wonderful experience at camp this year and any issues we’ve had have been quickly remedied with patience and respect. Thank you.
The program is run well overall. I want to encourage more girls in the 9-11 age group to play, with the hope of increasing the number of teams and adjusting the age categories to match the boys.
Our son has joined the basketball program there twice now and both times he had Coach JB. We’re so happy he did because Coach JB is awesome!
As for the place itself my husband also enjoys his workouts at the Y!
The basketball clinics run by Coach Butler were fantastic. I saw a huge improvement in both my kids. Would love to see more from him.
Why are the age ranges for girls and co-ed basktball different? When my daughter turns 16 next summer her choices will be: 1. play on the co-ed team with guys who outweigh her by 20-50 lbs, are far faster, more aggressive and more physical; or 2. not play at all. I'll choose not play at all. I would love to see the age range for girls basketball adjusted to 13-17.
Overall, the YMCA sports programs are great and a massive improvement over the previous athletic director.

My daughter had a fantastic experience at the YMCA summer camp! The staff were friendly, supportive, and clearly passionate about creating a fun and safe environment. Each day was filled with engaging activities—from sports and swimming to arts and nature exploration. It was the perfect balance of learning and fun, and my daughter came home excited every day. We’ll definitely be signing up again next year! Highly recommend!

Our family loves the Y and fully supports Last name removed of the offered programming. We love and support the staff and understand that time off is needed and sometimes happens unexpected. The staff leading practices care about each one of the players and truly desire to see growth each season. The final game of the season was disappointing. It was the last game of the season and the only staff at the game was the score keeper. A dad stepped up to ref the last game and he did an excellent job, as good as any of us could have. The audience was engaged and gentle and appreciative of his calls. The kids had a fun and as fair as possible game. It would have been nice if someone who had led practices had been there. It would have been nice if they received a trophy or a certificate or even a high five from someone who had put the work into their growth this season. I also never receive communication emails stating when the season starts or when it will finish. We are signed up for next season and I would always encourage my peers to join us. I know we can do better than this and I'm more than willing to help. Our community depends on our Y to be there for our kids and celebrate wins with them.
