We had a great move with QMM. Everyone that we dealt with was very helpful and professional. It was great working with Matt and Douglas. They carefully loaded all of our belongings into their truck and brought them all the way from our condo in Calgary to our house on Bowen Island BC. They are both friendly, chill guys but they worked quickly and efficiently. Everything arrived safe and sound including my 100 year old china cabinet which still has its original glass. Thank you to Tara and Jennifer too.

Most of the people we dealt with during the move process - including the folks doing the packing and unpacking - were awesome.
The whole process was very smooth and we were lucky enough to be able to load on one coast and unload on the other without the need to go into interim storage. The packing and loading was expertly handled. All items were extensively wrapped and boxed carefully. No items were damaged during the trip and both homes were unharmed during the process.
Overall we are very happy with the move.

Very happy with the overall experience with QMM. Moving a four bedroom house and a lot of recreational gear from ON to BC was daunting and they made it easier. The pre booking process was smooth as was the booking itself. Great communication, they always responded to emails. I had to change the re-assessment and modify pick up and delivery dates and QMM accommodated everything with no issues. Highly recommend.

Great moving company! From the sales process through the delivery we were kept well informed. All events happened on schedule. We appreciated the professionalism from everyone we met along the way. Our goods arrived in perfect condition. The driver went out of his way to deliver our goods to our door vs using a shuttle. We really appreciated not having to move our goods twice to get them into our cul de sac. A great experience overall. I would use them again for sure and recommend them anyone with a cross-country to USA to Canada move.

Karl (Driver) was on time, communicative and kept us informed throughout the process from the time he showed up to the time he left our new home. Tara and Jennifer (sales / move coordinators) were also very responsive and provided us great tips on packing and setting the right expectations with us. The packers / loaders from our original home were all very hard working and amicable - very thoughtful and responsible for our belongings and took great care when moving everything to not damage our belongings or the walls / floors. The unloading team were very friendly, smiling, laughing, respectful and asked us repeatedly if there was anything that needed to be moved, or if there was anything else we could do!
All in all it was a fantastic experience from start to finish!

Generally it was a good move - only one broken item but missing small things and the boxes were not labelled correctly - for example one china box said glassware but there were only 2 glasses in the top and the rest was pots, pans and baking items so it was difficult to find the things I needed right away.
I've moved with QMM twice now. Both times were smooth and fast, and the movers were friendly.
Both pick up and delivery crews were excellent. Incredibly professional and cautious with my things and house. They were on time and worked efficiently.

From my initial phone call, to the follow up after the delivery of my belongings - it has been a wonderful experience.
Francis with QMM was the first person I contacted. I was in a bit of sticker shock when he gave me the first quote, but he was very pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable, and transparent about pricing. He was also very understanding when I decided it just wouldn't be worth it to send so few items and pay that amount. There was no sales pitch or pressure that followed, which I really appreciated.
This was an emotional transaction for me, as I had just lost my mom, and there were items very special to me that I did not want to give/donate. I was certain that there must be a cheaper way to move these items from Alberta to North Carolina.
I contacted nearly a dozen different moving companies to get quotes and information about cross-border moves. There were lower quotes and other shipping options that might have saved some money, but none that I was comfortable with. The more companies I called, the more I learned about what was involved. A lot can go wrong with a transborder move, which could end up costing a LOT more, in the long run. Many companies were not upfront about several charges I would have ultimately been "surprised" with upon receiving my belongings. I went with my "gut - intuition" and called Francis back and scheduled the move, now with double the amount of items to be shipped.
Lorraine took over at that point and was amazing with communication from start to finish. She made what I would consider to be a very complicated process - extremely smooth and easy. The movers showed up on time for pickup, and delivery was within the window specified. Upon receiving my items, I noticed many of the furniture items had been more securely protected for the long journey.
I am beyond impressed and cannot recommend this company enough. There were no surprises throughout any part of the process...other than how incredibly smooth it all went!! Thank you all so much - I am beyond grateful to have my mom and dad's belongings with me now, in my own home.
QMM team were more than I could have asked for. From first contact through to the last box unpacked, they were responsive, professional and took great care of us and our stuff. It can be really hard to know who to trust with movers, but you can trust QMM. I couldn’t recommend them more.

The staff knew the what they're doing for the process and quote was accurate with regards to weight and cost. Things went as stress free on the overall as possible.
