We have just recently completed our second move with QMM and have nothing but wonderful things to say. From the moment we initiate contact to the final post-move check-in from our move manager, the service is top notch. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, professional and friendly, and dedicated to a successful move. Would recommend to anyone making a move, and if/when we move again, they will be the ones we go with.

We were pleased with the good communication from QMM and even though there were some scheduling issues due to driver availability, QMM managed to hit our pickup window. We appreciated the availability of full replacement value insurance on our goods. The driving team and loaders/unloaders were great. Overall, we had a very good experience and would happily use QMM in the future.
I have endorsed them on FB in comments about the best cross border movers. It was much more convenient to meet them in Kelowna to declare my move goods to Customs than meeting them at the border which other companies required.
They were easy to work with. Not so sure about competitive pricing. I was not present for the load, but feedback I received was that the guys were professional and efficient. During the unload, they were friendly and efficient. I would use again. Francis and Lorraine were awesome!

Your company stepped in at the last minute when my previous arrangements fell through. Everyone was unbelievably helpful and kind. I had great moving crews at both ends of the journey and I didn’t lose a single item to damage. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a moving company.
I felt the international move was quite great. Even if there was a company who could have been cheaper (not that I quoted competitors), their expertise in international moves really felt comfortably to me. Communication went very well, and there were no issues on shipping or receiving. The quote did fit my actual weight, so I felt I got what I paid for.
My operatiosn manager even helped me international documents for importing my vehicles, even though this wasnt a service I procured with them.
The move overall went smoothly, but some mistakes were made in the coordination (missing TV box, some fragile furniture should have been dismounted at our place), which led to major (TV was broken and rendered unusable) and minor damage (furniture dent, some box content damaged), but QMM took responsibility about it, and is compensating us reasonably for the loss.
A large move is always a risk, and we knew there'd be bad news unfortunately, most of which could have been avoided with a little more care and coordination, but overall we're happy with the outcome, which is the expected from a large mover like QMM.

We had one of the best moves in recent times from Burnaby, British Columbia to El Segundo, California. We chose QMM due to our past good experience with Allied Van Lines on our move from US to Canada. QMM had a wonderful team starting from customer / account manager Aidan Macinnis to Move Manager Debbie Pirozzo. All paperwork and process were pretty smooth and they didn't charge a penny more than the initial estimate. Also the driver team of Nathan Wiebe and his wife Steph were a great team who were very friendly, and took good care of the stuff that was moved. By far, this was the quickest move that i had experienced within 6 days from BC to CA even after crossing international border clearance. Overall, from start to end, QMM team was very responsive, communicative and committed and i am glad i chose the right partner for this big move of mine. Thanks QMM for the good experience. I would not hesitate to reach them again in future or refer to a friend of mine.
Every step of the way was professional and well done. I will have another move in Cincinnati Ohio to move the same load from a storage unit to a condo. Is there a company in the US that you would recommend in the Cincinnati area?
All the staff were wonderful. All my questions were answered. The movers, at both ends, were exceptional in quality and care for my belongings.

The reason for my “excellent” review of Allied:
1) Our physical movers Steve and Angela From Maidment were superb from start to finish. Knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and very pleasant to work with. They are a star team.
2) Tara Schneider from Consumer Sales was my initial contact and reviewed the move, pricing etc was knowledgeable and had excellent follow through as she walked me through the move process.
Weakness
3) The main weakness was QMM”s lack of knowledge for moving returning snowbirds to Canada from the US. The forms I filled out were not applicable to a move of possessions from the US to Canada as a Canadian citizen. This is a significant gap considering the number of Canadians selling US homes and bringing back household possessions to Canada. This knowledge gap should be closed ASAP. In my mind this is an easy fix.
3) My third contact was Gayle Coyoca my move coordinator. She had excellent follow through and consistent follow up. My point 3 above was the main issue I had with dealing with her. My sense was she was newer to her position and followed through with my questions with other team members in her department. This means the whole team needs to understand point 3 and correct this knowledge gap.

Angela and Steve were truly amazing. They arrived on site with their team and went to work right away packing, labeling etc….. kind, knowledgeable and truly cared about preparing a stress free move for me and that’s what happened. (that’s hard to find) my situation was a bit different I originally was recommended a moving company from my realtor that didn’t work out that well. When I contacted Heather at QMM she genuinely wanted to help and since that point it was nothing short of amazing. My stress level went from a 10 to a 1 after Steve and Angela showed up on site. I will never beable to thanku them enough . I would highly recommend them to anybody who is thinking of moving

Kyle, Jamie and Dale were an amazing team of movers, so efficient, courteous and very, very strong. These boys were lifting boxes, 4 or 5 high with such ease and even with a big smile on their faces. These boys made our moving day a breeze with no damages and certainly no complaints from us, great job. My husband and I would absolutely recommend Kyle and his team for any move that you may have and I know you will not be disappointed with them. Way to go boys, thank you for a great moving day 😎!!!
