Good People, who know there stuff. Professional
Megan for the C1 6:30 class on Sunday August 23rd was amazing. Beautiful soul
I had never taken a strength class at CorePower and it was a great experience. My instructor, John, was amazing and so helpful. I enjoyed the class being unheated, but I still got a great sweat in and was feeling strong during and after the class.
Tony is an amazing yoga instructor who brings an authentic, mindful approach to every class. His teaching is calm, focused, and true to the spirit of Yoga. I especially appreciate that his classes aren’t loud or rushed, and don’t feel like a boot camp like some instructors, and he keeps it at the recommended temperature. His classes leave me feeling centered, stronger, and refreshed. I strongly recommend him!
Clean facilities, kind staff, great workout
Great instructors, multiple locations, classes and different types of classes and times available!
Total environment experience!!! Farout
Really friendly instructors very clean too the mat placement guides were a little too close to the mat next to me for my liking (like her but was right in my face during wide legged fold). Overall good experience would definitely try again
Great workout. My muscles felt better because of the stretching and mental state at the end of class was relaxed, calm and ready to start the day.
Class quality , location are very good!
I really enjoy CorePower and appreciate the effort that goes into creating a great experience, but I think there are several areas where the studio could improve, especially with so many new teachers.
First, I think it would be very helpful for the studio manager and coordinator to regularly take the new teachers’ classes and provide them with constructive feedback. Having leadership observe the classes firsthand would help ensure that teaching styles, safety, demonstrations, and studio expectations are consistent across the board.
I also think all of the teachers need clearer guidance regarding the infrared heat. I understand that the room can become very hot when a class is full, but I still want to experience the benefits of the infrared environment. Rather than completely turning off the heat, I think it would be better to leave it on and adjust the temperature down a few degrees when necessary.
Another major concern is class capacity. I believe the number of students should be reduced enough to give teachers adequate space to safely demonstrate exercises and allow students to move around comfortably. When the room is overcrowded, it becomes difficult for teachers to demonstrate properly and creates safety issues. For example, there have been times when a mat is positioned directly in front of the door, making it difficult to open the door without stepping onto someone’s mat. That is not a safe situation, particularly in a heated class.
Finally, I still strongly recommend implementing a reservation system for mat markers. I think this would make a significant difference in helping organize the room, reduce confusion, and make the overall experience more comfortable and predictable for everyone.
I’m sharing this feedback because I really want the studio to succeed. With better oversight and feedback for new teachers, appropriate heat management, safer class capacities, and a more organized mat-marker system, I think the overall CorePower experience could be significantly improved.
Great class. Teacher was clear, fun and enaged
Loved the wheel class. Lee Ann is a talented and magnificent teacher.
The instructors at UTC are incredible - the last Sculpt class I took with Beverly was one of the best I've ever had! She did a fabulous job of mixing up the flow, and the sequencing was very thoughtful.
I appreciate all of the work that's been put into the UTC studio recently (refreshing the lobby, re-organizing the weights, etc.).
I am curious about the shift in yoga etiquette; oftentimes, students chat with one another loudly before and after class inside the studio. I've been a student at this studio for many years, and I remember instructors asking students to respect the studio and the community as a quiet space. I will say that this isn't unique to UTC; it's really noticeable at PB as well.
i love my local CorePower Yoga studio! I can walk to class, love the wide variety of times and classes offered. The mgmt and instructors are genuinely wonderful. thx CPY North Park for being the best and inspiring me to do my best. thx, Glenna
It’s awesome that the classes don’t tend to fill up, it gives me the ability to book last-minute which really helps get me into the studio since I’m not always good at planning my schedule ahead. I love the locker room set-up with the shoe cubbies, other studios I’ve been to have very congested locker areas and CorePower makes it easy to get in and out.
I can feel a huge difference in my strength, balance, cardiovascular fitness, and mood since I’ve started taking classes at CorePower. Some of the classes have even been so great that I’ve had visions during savasana! I frequently surprise myself with what I’m capable of in class which is a great feeling.
I really like the teachers as well. Nina is a stand-out, it’s no wonder her classes tend to be fuller.
A bonus for me is that the studio is only 2 blocks from my house, so it takes me less than 10 minutes to walk to class! I would be much less likely to attend frequently if that weren’t an option.
I have a 9 not a 10 because I think there’s always room for improvement! I don’t really like hearing upbeat, lyrical, or EDM music during a C2, hot, or HPF class. I’d rather listen to something more zen that supports the mind-body-breath connection. I would love to see a few more restorative classes added to the schedule, and would also love to see some advanced classes occasionally so I can continue to expand my practice. (Is C3 a thing?) I get a little sad when classes start right at 5pm. If they were at 5:15 I could get there after I finish work at 5!
friendly and good teachers
The ambiance, the instructors, the flow, the way my body felt after class.
The heat, the instructors, the studio vibe (love the darker rooms and lights). Classes are super challenging and always fun! The amount of classes available, I can go all day every day and find a class I want!
This is a great location. All of the teachers are top notch. It is spacious with a nice spa feel to it. The room for the hot power fusion class gets especially hot, which I enjoy. If you are looking to transform mind and body, this is the place.
Lindsay's class was perfect! La Costa is the best!
Love all the teachers and community!
Katie B is the best!
The friendly staff. The excellent teachers. The clean and organized studios.
The instructors are amazing.
Music heat and flow
I absolutely love your classes, but I’m still super annoyed that one of your instructors touched Tam mine and moved it when I was reserving for a a friend that had forgotten her Matt so she was renting one. It was just gross for somebody to touch my stuff without asking me first she’s super entitled I can’t even look her in the eye ever again. I would never do her class yuck yuck yuck. Can’t be around people like that.
All of the Core Power experiences, community,, classes, instructors!
I love CPY pacific beach! All the teachers are incredible. Everyone so kind and welcoming. I go everyday and they all push me to be better and they all truly care. They know your name and i look forward to coming to the studio. It has been life changing for me. The CPY community is the best. Thank you!

Heddie is 10/10 an absolute party of a sculpt class
