Client Testimonials
Just love the classes and the deals!
Teachers, laid back atmosphere, generous perks like tea and rosemary oil and mat wipes and free mat rental. Most businesses feel small spirited and grouchy and selfish due to the bottom line but Namaste is beautifully human.
The atmosphere of the studio is welcome.
I love that your instructors are hands on (at least the ones I've taken). I also like the post "tea" treats they offer after each class. I also love the fact that if you work at Namaste, you can work your way up as an instructor. I noticed one of their receptionists as one of the teachers in yoga now and I'm very impressed with Chona's skills and level of teaching even if she hasn't been doing it for a long time compared to the other instructors there.
I like the attention since you get into the studio; the environment it's very relax and instructors are doing very well. I like so much.
From the variety of classes, to really great schedules that mean I can always pop in for a class or find something I'm interested in trying - at I time that I can feasibly try it, the Namaste experience has been really great. I like that teachers have consistent time slots so that allow you to build a practice with them (or with a couple of them) but approach every class in a way that works for newcomers or those who are in the process of learning more advanced techniques, but are't quite there. I think sometimes Yoga studios can feel a bit alienating,
making you feel like if you can't do a certain pose, then you can't take a certain class. Namaste is the opposite. I think it's just a really great, rare place that makes you feel welcome and brings everyone into the practice as equals. I have also never seen or experienced a single teacher or employee of the studio be anything but kind, patient, understanding, and willing to work with members questions or concerns.
Very calm and welcoming environment.... enjoy the different classes and instructors.
Brings me joy!
what do i like? everything!!! first and foremost, the instructors are awesome (ani & hannah are favorites) and they each have their own unique approach to guiding the class through challenging yet accessible poses. every class is somewhat different than the last with the addition of a new pose or flow change. i always leave feeling like i got a great workout and learned something new. after each class, there's delicious tea for everyone, and the tea changes every week or so. delicious and exactly what i need after class. i also love the inclusion of artwork in the studio that ties in with the monthly highland park artwalk. i've not yet gotten to show my work, but look forward to the opportunity. having art in the space lends to an open mind and creative spirit towards your practice. i also love that there's a free brunch once a month. i haven't gone yet, lots of food allergies, but i intend to! people love this studio so much that sometimes, it's a bit crowded. i'm happy they never turn anyone away, however it is less distracting when the class is capped at a certain number. with the recent addition of a second studio downtown, i imagine this won't be as much of an issue. i wish there was a class SLIGHTLY earlier than 645, or that there were all levels classes first thing in the morning every day so that i could fit it into my work schedule better. -again, will definitely be checking out the additional classes downtown! love this studio and grateful each time i leave. thank you namaste!
I really like all the teachers I've met -- Shira, Ani, Megan, Sondra, Bethany (I think) -- and how each is allowed to have her very distinctive style. The studio itself is peaceful and beautiful. I love the different art that goes up every month . . . I am not really a "yoga" person and I feel very comfortable whenever I come for class. Thanks !

I like the teachers and I love that I get to work with different ones in the evenings, which is when I am usually available. I wish I could go to more of Veronica's classes because I just love her! I definitely prefer vinyasa classes to hatha, and wish there were more of those at the all levels. But I've been able to make it work for me and I love love love the studio.

I love the Spinefulness class on Monday evenings! I have two back injuries and it was so refreshing to do yoga with other people in the same boat. I felt better for a whole week and will definitely be back.
