How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

When they were sweeping up the basement, somehow they cleaned around the boiler (which I did not ask for) and they turned off a switch I did not know about and I was left with no hot water. I had to call the Boiler Company to fix it.

What could we do to improve?

In general, the service has been good. However, the last 2 visits resulted in mirrors streaked. Last week, as I discussed with the Merry Maids office, my flat-screen TV had been wiped with a cleaner and was left in a very streaky state. I NEVER use a cleaner on my TV and I was beside myself, wondering if the screen was permanently damaged. A cleaner came by the next day (I wasn't home), and cleaned it up, and it now appears to be OK.

I suspect the mirrors in my house were also wiped with a non-window cleaner the previous visit, since my husband noticed, and was not happy with the poor appearance.

I would like a definite time window for when my cleaner is coming to my house every 2 weeks. If this isn't possible then when I get the call with the reminder the cleaner is coming if the 2 hour window could be included in the message this would be helpful.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I was not satisfied with my first cleaning which I asked for and was reassured would be a deep cleaning.
The two women who were sent had to come back to clean the areas in which they missed; vacuuming a rug in the living room, the kitchen counters behind small appliances, the top of the shower, the shower head, and the refrigerator (which still wasn't done) just to name a few.
It was also very uncomfortable for me to be there as they were cleaning and pointing out areas they missed. They were both apologetic and polite however, no one should be placed in that position.

What could we do to improve?

Light bulbs were broken during the cleaning and left hanging. Shattered in the sink when I got home. There was no living room or kitchen furniture to clean and no sheets needing to be replaced yet still upcharged.

I feel they try to go so fast and get done that a good clean doesn't happen. Specifically floors and vacuuming.

the work was pretty good - there were a few spots however that were neglected, such as under the tv table wasn't dusted and the legs of my desk chair were covered in dust.

I really appreciated the work that was done in the bathroom. They did a great job.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Having to check and double check to make sure they did what they should is not the cleaning company I need. I called, had to have the house redone. When making my bed, they didn't even put sheets on evenly and properly. My toilets are dirty with in days, so I can't imagine what they use to clean it. There's only me in my home.
I've called a few times.
The last straw was I came in my home from being outback in my garage to find my front door not closed, not locked, but wide open. I never leave my door open.
The company didn't seem to think it was a big deal for that to happen, my purse and home were exposed to the street.
When I commented on level of clean and what there not doing, there suggestion is to have it checked after my someone from there. I don't need my home taking all day to clean and multiple visits for something that should be done correctly the first time.
Charging me a cancellation fee is ridiculous, lousy service and non chalant attitudes will make me tell a never to go there.

I mostly have the same person come to my place each time. She is thorough and always does a great job, I always receive a reminder call when its time for cleaning. It does not get any easier. I have had other offers to clean from other people and companies. Why switch when Merry Maids gives a great service.

Surfaces are rarely cleaned. i.e. desks or dresser tops. Beds are made very lazily and messy. Floors are never cleaned with murphys oil only water? I've asked several times to use murphys oil.

The courtesy and competence of Colleen and whomever is assisting.
If I point out something missed or request any change it is done without question.

My only suggestion is to call if they are delayed beyond the assigned time. This has only happened once.
I do appreciate a call on the morning of cleaning after they know their schedule.

Your products seem fine. I have corian counter tops which could use a polish from time to time if one is available.

Sam had been coming to our Norwell Office to do our bi-weekly cleanings. We were very pleased with her work. She does a great job and is very professional. We have patients in our office during the time that she cleans and she always is respectful of them. We would like to request that she be the one to always come to do our cleanings. We would highly recommend her to a friend or another office. At our last cleaning we had 2 girls come that did an ok job. We are scheduled for 8:30-9:30am and they came at 9:30 and stated how you don't open until 9 and they couldn't get here unitl 9:30. We were unable to let them vacuum as we had too many patients in the clinic at the time. I do feel as though they did not do a very thorough job and this is why i scored this at a 5.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I was originally very satisfied with the cleanings. The quality has dropped off the last few times. The floors don't look much cleaner than before and they don't even go around the edge of the room with the mop or broom to clean. I will likely only give this one or two more cleans before I decide to move on.
