Moving is very stressful! So much to do, so much to coordinate and so many decisions to make. I either tossed, donated or packed my "stuff" that I accumulated over the years. I thought I had plenty of time to do all of this and clean up afterwards. I was wrong. So I reached out to Merry Maids.

I requested their move out cleaning service. What a relief that was! Once I committed to having them come in and clean for me, my stress eased. It took two ladies an hour to do what probably would have taken me 8 hours to do.

I anticipated they would be there two hours so I left to run errands. When I returned just under two hours, they were gone. It turns out it only took them an hour to do what needed to be done. Upon walking around and checking everything out...it was awesome. They did a great job. I felt so relieved knowing that it was cleaned by professionals. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

*I would like to understand what is "standard". On your website dusting base boards was standard but not all were done even on the re-clean.

*seeing as how doing all rooms completely every time is difficult, could the team concentrate on different rooms (doing baseboards for example) on each visit, while doing a dust, vacuum, etc. in the rest of the rooms.

The ladies did an awesome job cleaning and were very professional and eager to fulfill anything on my list.

Last week only one girl came. It takes two to get the job done. Britney did a great
job. The other girl did not come. Hiring good people is very hard. The products and the
equipment is okay. Last week the vacuum cleaner was not working so well.

The products were good. I was disappointed with the Master bath, the faucets did look like they had been cleaned, the Master bath shower floor had dirty shoe prints in it. Also in the game room the pool table legs had dust on them. They are black so it was noticeable.

This is the second time I have used Merry Maids. The first time was at my Father's house almost 8 years ago. I am extremely pleased with my cleaning. The reason I gave a 9 instead of a 10, I was told they would be there between 10:30-12:00. I was called at 12:13 to say they were late but on their way, should be there by 12:45. They arrived at 1:12. As I was off all day it didn't affect me that much, I just think it would have been nice to have been called before they were already late.

After they left I did find some items that were missed (place on side of stove drawer, place on side of fridge, spots on floor, and dust in the master bedroom) However, a lot of this is due to the darkness/lighting in my house and you have to be standing at a certain spot to see them. Since I didn't call for them to come back and redo it clearly didn't bother me that bad :)

The whole staff was professional and fun to be around, I am looking at my finances to see if I can maybe go with them cleaning my house every three weeks or so. I have already recommended the Senior/Singles package to numerous people and will also be talking to my father about using it.
