I come to Kennett solely to use the pool, and it’s great - there’s always an open lane, and the online schedule is current.
The yoga program is absolutely amazing. I drive 30 mins from Coatesville to attend the Kennett YMCA’s yoga classes. The indoor track is the best thing ever also!
I like that the programs and activities at the Kennett YMCA are very well structured with plenty of exercise equipment to use.
A variety of youth sports and other activities offered.
I like the machines available to maintain muscle mass.
Susie B does a great job leading our Body Pump class !
She's very energetic and joyful in getting us through an upbeat full body workout.

The facilities are great, but not over the top. It's the perfect balance.
Yoga classes and instructors are great. Would you consider offering a warm yoga class on a weeknight around 6pm for those of us who work? That would be great. The quality of your yoga instructors is excellent.

I don’t really participate in your programs and activities anymore, my kids are grown. I mostly use the gym. The Kennett Y is a great place. Nice sized Y, very community-focused, I feel like everyone knows everyone there, employees are great and really helpful.
Zumba class
The Zumba classes with Jose, Ana, and Cecy are amazing, and so is the stretching class with Carol Anne Ganly. Thank you for offering such fantastic classes taught by talented and enthusiastic instructors!
Font desk is welcoming. Instructors for my classes were / are knowledgeably . Put all at ease regardless of skill level. Get to know members inI class by name and encourage commeraderie .

Everything. Love the pool, the gym equipment the people. Love the Y's involvement in the community and how it provides members a way to help out as with the angel project. Unlike private gyms the Y really is a community place.

I have moved here recently and I haven't found any Y previously which compares to this facility, programs and staff.
The facility itself is large and takes all member needs into account.
The programs are so varied and numerous that they fit everyone's needs, no matter how old or how agile.
But, what really is the most important are the fantastic instructors and staff. They are so knowledgeable and cheery, that they make coming here a pleasure.
I especially am thinking of Jay, who teaches Step, and Jeannie, who is at the front desk, but everyone is terrific and welcoming.
I have met many wonderful people here both members and staff, and their personalities have helped me make a great transition to a new area.

I love the gym I almost go everyday when I don’t need to work. The teacher and the staff are amazing

Great 8-lane pool with many lap lanes

The ability to warm up by shooting baskets for 15 - 20 minutes before I go to lift weights. Also I run on the track occasionally.
Lastly, when needed, I get good advice on how to correctly use the weights.
