I like the personal feel of the Kennett Y. My daughter has done soccer and swim lessons thru the Kennett Y with a wonderful experience. Her coaches and instructors have been caring and fun and encouraged her to reach her potential.

I love the classes. That's what I need to keep me motivated at 69 years old. Wish we had more STEP classes. Jay is the BEST instructor, and really makes it so much fun.

My daughter is on Jennersville Y b-ball team (12-13) and they had a game at Kennett. Facilities were clean and easy to access. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Good instructors

I've been a Y member for 13 years and I can't say enough good things about the community and attitude of the employees.

That being said, I participated in this year's Christmas Angel Tree and I must say that it was poorly managed, which might be why the response was tepid. There was very little advertising in the lobby about the project (the angel tree didn't show up until the very last week before Christmas) and the binders had very few children in them. I tried two weeks in a row until I was able to pick someone. Someone who hasn't participated in the project before would have had no idea that it was going on - I had to ask for the one binder that was available. I hate to see this happen because I think a lot of people benefit from the gifts and I think more attention needs to be paid to remind Y members that this is happening.

Positive atmosphere!

Large variety of classes available.

Great environment. Great selection of classes and plenty of equipment even during the evening rush. The people who work for the Y are always helpful.

The ability to warm up by shooting baskets for 15 - 20 minutes before I go to lift weights. Also I run on the track occasionally.

Lastly, when needed, I get good advice on how to correctly use the weights.
