Great classes and staff. Post-lockdown club feels safe and well-managed.

The One Escape Health Club in has recently reopened and the staff and team at One Escape have been doing everything they can to make your sessions as good as they can be under the circumstances. I am disappointed that the steam room and sauna is currently still closed but its understandable under the circumstances and not the fault of the club. The workout sessions are shorter than what I have been used to in the past due to closing the facilities every 75mins for sanitisation but again this is not the fault of the health club and by doing this they are making everyones safety the priority. The gym equipment is well spread out in order to cover the minimum distance rules currrenly in force. I know this is a temporary arrangement and I fully support the club and hope that they get loyal and trusted members to continue supporting them as this would be a real shame if the facilities were to close. Anyone looking for a gym in the Smithfield/Dublin 7 area should definitely consider this gym first as the staff are great and the facilities cover many aspects of fitness from rowing to cross training and cycling and then there is a very decent selection of weights are and its good that your membership allows you access to 2 other locations as well as in Smithfield, Icon Health Club in D2 and the Dartry Health in D6 which is useful if you are that side of town. Eventually things will return to normal and all the facilities will open but in the mean time everyone stay safe and keep up the hard work everyone!

Really impressed by how you've handled closure/reopening. A nice touch to stall direct debits until start of July. Facilities are great and staff are always very friendly - thanks! It's great having the app but feels like it needs a revamp/upgrade.

The gym is a lot more structured now with the COVID measures, I would like to see them continue

It would also be good to add more bins around the gym floor for disposing of the blue tissue

Great gym, super staff, and loads of classes to choose from even in the reduced capacity with physical distancing.

This is a modern gym maintained and equipped to the highest standards. The pool area is excellent and a great place to restore a jaded body. Best feature is the staff though. Always a delight to deal with.

It was a Monday morning, was just after having my morning coffee, and took a quick glance in the mirror... Jesus I have got small, really can't wait for the gym to open back up.

I check instagram, as you do... Yes great news! New post from 1Escape. We are back baby! I quickly log onto the app, book in and sprint to Smithfield to get the cardio in, as you do.

I walk in, and its like i never left. Great atmosphere, staff as friendly as always. Really good setup since the reopen, very clean, time management is excellent and have really enjoyed all my workouts. Looking forward to the sauna/swimming pool reopening, as championship is around the corner and the muscles will need some recovery!

As always - music could be better, which is why it didnt get a 10. No Coppers tunes, no Justin Bieber or One Direction to help me hit my PBs.

Great layout of gym and range of machines, free weights and floor space. Brilliant range of classes and the instructors and other staff are excellent. Changing rooms and swimming pool area are always very clean
