Water had gotten very hard and rusty early spring, and we had plenty of salt, water level in tank was too full, called for service.
Service tech came on appointed day, replaced some parts that had become corroded or rusted up, lowered the water level to appropriate level, made sure everything was set as it should be.
Our water is now soft again.
