School of Rock manages to do something really difficult - create a corporate franchise that creates a solid musical base and personal connection for each musician. My autistic son has done seven shows at the Burbank location and we can't wait to sign up for programs at our new home in Portland. The fun part is seeing kids perform at iconic venues, like the Troubadour in LA, setting them on the path to playing like a pro.
School of rock makes learning an instrument fun while still teaching kids about music and it's history. Our 6 year old fell in love with guitar after just one lesson and he loves the way he gets to have "band practice" or his group lesson on top of his weekly one on one lesson. It's not like when we were growing up learning only classical music and falling asleep, School of Rock gets kids excited about learning and sneaks in all the technical stuff. We are so happy we found this place and definitely recommend it for any little aspiring musicians.
My daughter Dominique had the best time at School of Rock. Everyone there was great. Adam did an amazing job teaching and working with the kids. The show at the end of the week was spectacular!

My son has been enrolled in the Little Wing class for the past few weeks and he loves it! Drama is awesome with toddlers and little kids. She helps them take turns and gives them the chance to try all of the instruments.

Summer camp was great - students got to learn songs and perform as a band. Instructors were great and gave kids independence and confidence.
The teachers. They really seem to care about the kids learning. They can see where your child is struggling and adjust classes to make sure its getting worked on to improve their skillset. Great job!
