A great group of kids and a great group of teachers. It really seems like a cool clubhouse at School of Rock and it shows in way the kids interact with each other and their instructors. Nothing but good vibes and great music. The confidence my kid has picked up by performing on stage is great, but it's not forced and just seems like a natural by product of all the good natured support that happens at School of Rock Venice!

Rock 101 and private lessons
We love School of Rock in Santa Clarita! The teachers are all very supportive and motivate my son to work hard and have fun too. He really enjoys being a part of the band and has a cool place where he fits in.

The staff and how much fun my son has
The programs at School of Rock are very unique and have kept our kids very engaged.
My children really enjoy the programs and I have seen development and growth in each of their skill levels. The opportunity for the kids to perform live is a great experience for all involved.
Alex has been a great teacher to Mariko. Very patient I think and has been flexible when she needs it. My daughter started drums in middle school, but now in high school she needed to learn how to solo for jazz. Alex made the switch to meet her new goals. Much appreciated!
School of Rock Venice has changed my daughter’s life! She loves her instructors. The classes are fun yet educational. The shows are always amazing and take place at the coolest venues. And her closest group of friends have come from there. So grateful for everything they do!
Everything
The guitar lessons are very fun for my daughter. The teachers are great musicians and highly skilled teachers. She also likes playing music and hanging out with the other kids there. It is an inspiring and creative environment. We like the music they choose to play and the performances. There is individual feedback for my child in clear e-mail communication by the teachers. Fantastic instructors and a great overall program

I was impressed with how quickly the instructors took a rather large group of kids, had them select songs, learned those songs and then performed them. The four days of winter camp were intense but I’ve seen that it already had made an improvement in my child’s playing. Thanks School of Rock!
Classes are fun and I feel like I’ve learned a lot in the short time I’ve been taking lessons. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable!
I am blown away by the progress my daughter made in a 3 1/2 day camp! It also boosted her self confidence so much. My daughter is neurodivergent and this was the first camp she loved and wants to go back to! Her teacher, Mr Pierre, was exceptional! Thank you!

There is constant communication and feedback, which I really appreciate. We always know what is going on and are kept current on changes. Kevin puts himself ALL in and it shows.

Great energy! Staff is very helpful. Every time i go to pick up my son the energy of the students is electric. My son wasn't meeting anyone at school who wanted to start a band so we tried SOR Pasadena and they have all these students there wanting to do the same thing. Play music they love and learn how to be in a band.
After a year with School of Rock, I think the way songs are taught and progress is made for beginners from single notes to chords and tablatures for songs is fantastic. The added bonus is Rock 101 where they get to put what they learn in lessons into practice with a band. This makes School of Rock superior to private lessons since you don't get to play with others. The teachers are also very encouraging and the office staff at the Venice location is fantastic.
Love the teachers and love the way the program is set up; School of Rock makes learning fun! Not only has my son gained invaluable experience learning to play guitar and perform in a band, but his self-confidence has grown significantly through being a part of this program and translates to all other areas of his life. School of Rock is awesome! I like the songs the kids learn! I love connecting with my child through songs I loved for years. There is great communication with staff and it’s easy to make changes with scheduling when needed. My child feels comfortable with the teachers, enjoys playing with the kids in the band, and enjoys socializing with others with common interests. There are many things about the two programs we are in that we enjoy, benefit, and grow from!
Mostly, we are happy our child can now “rock” 🤘🏽.
