I think it is fine. My son loves it and he is learning. I know they practice playing songs but I am not sure if he is learning techniques or basics.

My daughter is in the Little Wing program and I love that she is learning about many different instruments. It gives her exposure to instruments that she may not have known about. However, the best part is that now she wants to listen to AC/DC whenever she gets in my car!
I really appreciate how friendly the staff and teachers are. My 12 year old daughter is quite shy and previous lessons, events etc have gone off the rails perhaps due to a less than friendly environment or a chaotic atmosphere. At School of Rock Pasadena, she really likes her teacher. Her improvement in playing electric guitar is quite remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend this school.

A great group of kids and a great group of teachers. It really seems like a cool clubhouse at School of Rock and it shows in way the kids interact with each other and their instructors. Nothing but good vibes and great music. The confidence my kid has picked up by performing on stage is great, but it's not forced and just seems like a natural by product of all the good natured support that happens at School of Rock Venice!
