They've continued to provide a necessary outlet to my teen in keeping him engaged and active with his music education. The addition of the masterclass series and artist Q&As is incredible. During these unprecedented times, School of Rock’s commitment to furthering our kids’ overall music education has been truly impressive. When the ground shifted, they kicked into gear immediately to keep offering our kids not only quality technical instruction through real-time video remote lessons and rehearsal check-ins, but also to introduce new content via their instructor-led Masterclass Clinics and Guest Artist Q & A Sessions. The level of communication and outreach here has been extraordinary, and has provided the students with a much-needed sense of continuity and stability, and of course, artistic creativity. We are the biggest fans of SOR Bedford! The private lessons and performance program have literally changed my son's life. He loves his instructors and the new friends he has made.

Aside from the music at SoR, which is always awesome, I appreciate the people who work and teach at the school in Bedford. The teachers/staff I’ve encountered have all been chill, supportive, and seem to really ‘get’ the kids. They manage the kids really well. The band performances are always impressive and demonstrate a love of teaching and understanding of this age group. They have also been super helpful in guiding my son to the next band coming up.
Additionally, the way SoR has handled the ‘stay at home’ situation we’re under is impressive. Their ability to manage and host the daily lessons, band rehearsals, Masterclass Clinics and other programs is awesome and proof of the dedicated and incredible teachers they have. I hope they know it doesn’t go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated! My teenage son remains engaged and we all benefit from hearing great rock n’ roll!
School of Rock has been excellent all around, its local, its great for all kids- great for the music, fun and confidence builder, the awesome teachers, the organized process and software. We love it.
The programs are customized to each student; each individual student is taught in the way he/she best learns and understands. This protocol builds confidence and and a curiosity to learn.
We can’t say enough good things about the teachers and management at school of rock in bedford. Their approach definitely helped advance my daughter’s drum skills . . . much faster than traditional methods. We love that the 1:1 instruction focuses on teaching students to play in a band. Their performances are always outstanding. We were blown away and love this program!

The location manager, Todd, is really fantastic! He embodies all of the right qualities you want as the face of the organization in Bedford. Also, my son and I are pleased with our budding relationship with his teacher, Mike. He also seems to strike the right balance of humility, warmth, spirit, and drive.
It would be great if the organization could invest in replacing the worn out furniture in the welcome area and clean a little more. Also, you might find some cost savings by putting some plastic or storm window inserts in the old single pane windows. It is drafty in there in the winter!
Bedford has a top notch program, better than others we've tried. The community of teachers and students work together to make every student a part of the show. Our son has completed two and a half years of shows and camps and has grown immensely as a musician and student along the way. We're looking forward to the next six years of fun and music.

School of Rock’s students receive not only technical instruction, but also an education in the contemporary classics through appreciation of modern musical styles/genres, their historical contexts and their various evolutions over the past 70 years. From day 1, School of Rock instructors get students playing real rock music, instilling in them the foundational skills with which to proceed, the confidence to tackle more and more challenging material and the sense of accomplishment that comes with being able to say, “I ROCK!” The performance program is truly unique, affording students the opportunity to balance their weekly private lessons with group band rehearsals culminating in live gigs. Trust me, NO ONE is snoozing into their programs at these shows, and the experience of playing — and feeling — like a rock star, be you 8 years old or 80, is priceless. :)
