We returned back to JCC after 13 months. First, we were hesitant but just wanted to give it a try.
But we found that, at the J, the management has taken care to keep the facility extremely clean. They check the temperature of patrons at the entrance. The sanitizer is available at various places. J is running at 50% capacity. All this has given us the confidence to continue our membership at the J.Thank you.
The entire facility and especially the fitness floor are extremely clean, Staff is friendly. However, cell phone usage needs to be better policed, There have been some loud conversations lately. Cell phone conversations are supposed to take place outside of fitness center.
I have been a member for more than 10 yrs. It is affordable and close to home. The improvements to the fitness center, and the early am hours, have been a huge plus for me. About 3+ yrs ago I had to make changes in my life habits. Working out after work was just not doable anymore. I needed to try something different. The JCC opens at 530am so I decided to give it a shot. Bingo - I was able to workout and catch my 730 NJT to NYC. The am workouts have been a life changer! Great staff too!
Love how friendly all the staff are, place is always clean and tidy. Always upgrading and buying new equipment.
The JJC has been like family to me for many years. The members care about each other.
Available activities, especially pickleball and the classes. Also, the feeling of community and all the people I have met and that I interact with.
The facilities are fabulous, my only concern is the new mask policy that allows individuals to remove their mask when working out.
Hours are convenient and not crowded I can't get my time in. Staff people are awesome. Anthony is awesome tonwork with as a trainer and rehab work
What I like is the employees! Somehow Jen always manages to hire people who are excited and generally happy to be there. All of them possess go getter attitudes and are happy to help in various aspects of gym, health, and even life. Also who doesnt love the equipment here? Theres just enough of about everything here to excel as a big lifter or even be an endurance athlete. All your goals can be met here with this great environment. Also on a personal note, Jen is always very reasonable with payments and she cuts a lot of people slack and I feel like she generally cares about the people attending her gym. This is my second year here and I'll continue to come for awhile.
The remodel is outstanding!! Bob in the pickle ball are is a SAINT!! Your front desk staff always goes above & beyond!

The J is both beautiful and Covid safe. The employees, without exception in my many years as a member, are extremely helpful and polite. Since my Covid vaccinations I'm glad to be back.

You’ve been super responsible this past year, but continued in a very safe and fair environment to provide services to our community, and the J or (Center) as I grew up calling it has provided almost 70 yrs of education, entertainment, socializing and opportunities to help others for me!
