My nurse Carol is awesome!
I was referred to NND by my surgeon's office at Richmond Hospital so that I could have safe transport home. The company was highly recommended. However, the day after surgery their was an extra test ordered by my surgeon. The time frame that I was given was between 11-2pm, and so in my traumatic state I explained my predicament to the hospital staff and they bent over backwards to try and accommodate me and changed my test time to 10:30 but then I had to wait for the results. I called Pooja and she was very rigid with the time and said that the driver was coming at 11:30 and this caused me stress. This news spread pretty rapidly because my discharge nurse texted the surgeon. When my surgeon came to see me shortly after the call she asked what happened and was flabbergasted that a service her office recommended was not accommodating me after paying $200 for this service. It in fact was a disservice, even speaking with Pooja was uncomfortable. She was rigid, dismissive and uncaring--which is ironic since this is supposed to be a 'caring' industry. My Surgeon wanted to call and was on the phone speaking with Pooja for about 10 minutes arguing, my surgeon said that she won't recommend her patients to this service anymore. My point is that even if the time frame is between 11-2pm their should be some flexibility as unexpected things happen in the hospital. if your company cannot recognize that then you shouldn't be serving vulnerable clients. I also got hit with a bill charging me MORE than i expected. My invoice says $315. which I didn't not agree to so its adding insult to injury. I am going to write a Yelp review about this company too. Just bad business practice. I never really wanted a health care aide I wanted a nurse, but was relegated to the health care aide service due to the fact it was transport.
Don't care for Brittney and office staff I give a 10 to Kayla and Kimberly
They were understanding, empathetic and professional
The nurse is reliable, helpful and on time so who could complain

They are so carung, heloing beyonf dxodctations
I am really grateful for the help you gave my mother.
Sometimes you guys were amazing and other times you have been really sketchy. It all boils down to your individual employees. Some are brilliant and some are not. I think that you could better train and educate as to the nutritional needs of your clients, far better than you are now. Your employees seem to be too rushed and really don't seem to spend the time to get anything done, other than the basics.
I guess my real issue is with your lack of understanding nutrition. You must car about that and make sure that your clients are eating well, not just eating. It only takes few minutes to do this.
Again, thanks for all you have done.
My nurse is the best!
It is excellent service and also on time.
Good care.
Great services friendly and professional staff
Consistency of service. Your best care giver, in my opinion, is Carol Pringle. I've been on PD for 10 years, and I have not seen a better performer than Carol Pringle.
Nurse next door nurses are very kind, helpful and always greet us with a smile. They are a bright and helpful group of nurses assisting us older folk with care.
Some not as good as others
the nurse always does a good job and is caring.
Nurses are all very nice and professional
They are amazing and so helpful . I’ve heard a couple stories about other nurses that aren’t as good as mine and people tell me I wanna nurse lottery because mine is so good to me
Quick response when we urgently needed help. Care was good. Some were much better qualified than others but all were charged at the same rate.
Cost was too high for us to continue with the care.
Despite giving the full address on the initial call and follow up call the nurse who picked me up was still not give the full information on the pick up point or the procedure I was having done. As a result pick up was late. It seems like the nurse next door information collection and communication procedures are not adequate. Other than that the service was fine.
All the nurses are so wonderful! They are on time and gentle and have great work ethic. I am grateful for the help I had in Whistler right after my ski accident and I don't know how I would have managed otherwise, especially that slow patient drive to and from the clinic! It is nice to have home-cooked meals and to be able to have someone do all the little things I won't be able to do for awhile. Thank you for providing this service. I am highly recommending Nurse Next Door.
There was no communication with me at all. A session for educating home help staff on managing tube feed & pump device was organized for staff to come to my home on my home arrival day. I was told the plan after my arrival home at 08:30 am teacher, a dietician to arrive with 7 staff members at 13:00. It included Nurse Next Door, onewho left after session stating
My nurse is friendly, quick to see my needs and act accordingly, helpful and pleasant.
because of the service and professionalism and the people themselves provide this.
